I am about to get back to your pm, thank you!
I actually really like sKids! it's pretty fun.
Actually, one of the most enjoyable things about my job around this time of year is looking at all of the incredibly weird names for kid's bikes.
My fav from last year was something innocuous like "The Burner" but it had a weird tagline on the chainstays that said "World Gone Bad"
But.... why? And why on a bike designed for 5 year olds? -
The tiny town I live in on the Olympic Peninsula is the tip of a peninsula on another peninsula.
I blame this for the insane number of deer we just have wondering about all over the place.
Yesterday, on the high street, a mom and three babies started to cross the road.
Downtown its never the deer that are the problem, it's the tourists trying to protect the deer, and sure enough, a lady throws on her hazards, leaps out of the car, and stops traffic worn her arms out while yelling words of encouragement to her precious deer.
5 minutes later and they are still just sort of thinking of crossing the high street.
Normally you just keep going when you see them, and slow down a bit if they do start crossing. They figure it out and are pretty quick.
I ended up riding up a massive hill just to avoid the queen animal saver. -

Hey all!
I'm the program director at a non-profit bike shop in America-land (though I know a load of you from when I actually was a sweet-fixie rider in London).
We do a big giveaway of refurbished bikes for kids at Christmas. This year we have talked a company into stripping and powder coating all of the frames, so the kids are still helping to keep bikes from going in the landfill, but they look like brand new bikes.
What we need is a name for the bike "Brand" and a downtube sticker design that would fit on some tiny bikes.
Anyone with the design skills have a big heart and want to help us out? We can provide photos of said bikes, if you are in America we can send you a tax form, and you'll be helping to make a kid's christmas pretty awesome. -
