joel. does anyone know anything about either the genesis flyer, bianchi pista or the fuji track bikes, these seem to be reasonably easy to get hold of and within my price range
pista is popular, but is a dedicated track bike
genesis flyer got good reviews and i think the geometry is a little more relaxed
the fuji is a steal at the price but i think people have had problems with the hubs stripping??

i can see where the article is coming from but I wear a hat, always. i feel bad whenever i don't, like i'm tempting fate. i know they're not cool but my cycling cap ain't gonna do jack in an acident. i'd also say that most cyclists i know and have ridden with in the past wear one whether they're going to the shops or doing a big ride.
my view is every car driver is a potential twat so i need as much help as possible in case they hit me. depressing ain't it!

This has kinda been covered before but from a different angle. I was riding home last friday and my bag strap decided to rip off. And I was carrying a bottle of champagne at the time! Anyway, I thought it was a good excuse to get a decent courier style bag.
Options 1 is a bagaboo (slightly customised probably 75-100 smackers).
Option 2 is an off the peg type thing. But what options are there?? Timbuk2, Chrome. But are any of these any good??
It doesn't have to be courier type industructable as its just for commuting, but i want it to be strong and have the good features. Any other recommendations??
