Hi everyone. The track in the top picture is Welwyn, during the Eastern Region Track Champs. The lower picture is Quibell Park, in Scunthorpe, and the race is the National Masters Pursuit. Both have been recently resurfaced (although only the banking has been done at Welwyn).
Hardhat and Sano: I'll bring the jerseys and postbag to London Fields Cycles (Mare St, Hackney), you can pick them up there between 8 and 6.
If anyone else lets me know in time, I can bring other stuff.

this is a good example of why you shouldn't slipstream other riders in town. it's one thing doing it out in the countryside with experienced riders who know that you are there and will warn you if they are slowing down, another thing entirely jumping on the wheel of someone who might not know you are there, in a city environment where they may need to brake suddenly.

drafting in town is not really a good idea... if the person in front has to brake suddenly, you might end up going into the back of them. someone did this to me when i stopped to let someone cross a pedestrain crossing. felt a minor impact, and looked behind to see some idiot and his bike sprawled on the floor. fortunately he didn't take me out too.

Hi everyone, just what you need to keep warm, Castelli Windstopper (Gore Windstopper fabric) and thermal tops. They go well together, and the combination will keep you warm on the coldest winter days. Windstopper is also water resistant so will keep you dry unless you're out for a long time in heavy rain. They have a nice cut and look good when worn off the bike with jeans or combat pants, you know the sort of thing.

Can be collected from London Fields Cycles, just let me know.
