Hi everyone,
I'm selling my TT frame: it's UK built, made from very lovely fillet brazed Dedaccai aero tubing, with steel straight blade aero forks.
It has vertical dropouts with 130mm rear spacing, and takes 700c wheels. It has an Ultegra headset fitted, and comes with an ahead convertor so that you have the choice of using quill or ahead stems. It comes with an ITM Millenium 110mm stem.
It's an early 90s frame, from the period when steel frame building reached its pinnacle. There is some chipping to the paint but overall it's in lovely condition.
Size is 56cm, and I'm after £90. Thanks for looking.

Gazelle Champion Mondial 1995 MY Criterium model.
Frame is made from Reynolds 531 tubing, in Brussel blauw, and has a 59cm seat tube and 57cm top tube. It's in mint condition apart from a small dent on the RH side of the seat tube where the wheel axle 'dinged' the frame in transit.
It has a full Sachs New Success 8spd groupset (Campag Record equivalent) in top condition.
This is the work that I've had done:
Wheels rebuilt by Ciclos Uno
New bar tape
New Wipperman chain
New (NOS) Sachs freewheel and sprockets
New (NOS) Modolo stem
New seatpostIt will come with quill pedals and a plain black saddle, but otherwise as pictured for £300
It can be viewed in Brentwood, Essex or if you have a couple of beers waiting for me I'll bring it in to Liverpool Street

Hi everyone, I'm selling my Flanders racing bike:
Columbus Aelle tubing with lug cutouts, chromed forks and chainstay (61cm seat tube, 58cm top tube)
Gipiemme chromed dropouts with adjuster screws
Campagnolo Triomphe groupset
Dia Compe aero brake levers
Hatta headset
Sachs Aris 8spd freewheel
Cinelli Criterium bars
Cinelli 1Rstem
Campagnolo aero seatpost
San Marco Profil saddle
Nisi HR22 rims
Vittoria Tecno tyresMore pictures here
It has had very little use, so in almost perfect condition, with only minor scuffs to the paint. It still has the original tyres and chain (unworn - checked with Park chain checker). I'm 6'1", and the saddle is adjusted for me in the pictures: I reckon you'd need to be around 6' or more for this to be a good fit.
I'm after £180, thanks for looking.

the specialist insurance (cyclegaurd?) is a waste of time £100 per £1000 and you need to use an approved lock.
M&S home contents insurance covers items (including bikes) up to 2k outside the home, they didn't want to know what lock i was using. i think compared to other contents insurance providers they are not the cheapest but then the others will charge extra for the bikes and often have a limit of £500-1k for £400 we have two persons personal effects covered (20k limit each?) including a couple of guitars worth 1k+ and 5 bikes costing between £500-£1800 all covered outside the home. computers and laptops covered even if they are used for business. Are you sure that M&S only insure bikes up to £2k? I hope not, I chose them because they don't require you to specify items unless costing more than £5k. I paid the extra for away from home cover, and it costs me about £20 a month. They are well known for being good value if you have a few bikes; I've got 5 or 6 bikes each worth between £1-3k and it would cost me an arm and a leg to use a specialist insurer.
Only disadvantage is that they don't cover racing, oh, and AFAIK they won't cover you if you live in a shared house.

That is amazing, they actually produced a stayer's bike in their regular lineup. I wonder how many of them they sold a year?
Oh, my Gazelle Champion Mondial (previously mentioned in this thread) is up for sale here

I thought exactly the same. He's a really nice guy with plenty of trinkets on display. I think he's very cautious of timewasters and ends up wasting time himself. I think if you walked in and said you wanted to buy it there and then, gave him a spec list to build it up he'd give you a price.
Yeah, he seems like a nice enough person but I would have thought that after several visits he would have realised that I wasn't a timewaster.... he is aware that retro classic bikes/frames have a certain value so I don't reckon you'd get a bargain price for any of it.
I used to live in Ardleigh Green, and worked at Havering College. Very dull suburban area where occasional mindless thuggery is the locals' only entertainment (I am from Essex so feel qualified to comment). I'm out in Brentwood now, bit more genteel although not much and easier to get out to the lanes for training rides.

It's in Hornchurch, called Chainlink. The Lo-Pro is for sale indeed, it's currently got a Cinelli Stem/Bullhorn combo, some sort of tri-spoke on the rear and a Campag deep V/Campag hub on the front. I think Campag chainset too. That's it's current state. I'm not sure on the size though.
I've been in there and chatted to the owner. Funny shop, so full of stuff that you can get in the door but can't actually move around inside the shop. Sort of place that you wonder how he makes enough to pay the bills.
I saw the lo pro and a couple of other Gazelles and some other steel frame, but he either doesn't really want to sell them or he's a bit of a time waster... after 3 visits he wouldn't even give me a price, kept telling me to come back next week. I gave up in the end....
