They are semi-vertical on Argos frames - I have a thread running on this at the moment... I think it should be ok - there are a few hubs and tensioners and half-link things out there.

BrickLaneBikes has some incredible PAC bags - they are pricey but I think they have a LIFETIME gaurentee....

velocity boy Sheldon Brown on the Harris Cyclery site says it's possible to use cross levers without the drop levers, though I couldn't find any examples of this being done or an indication of what should be done with the excess cable. There's no internal cable-end grip on cross levers, and that's the bit that would make me feel good. I flip flop and if I'm riding single-speed my front brake is all I've got. Knowing that even a bumbled install would still stop you is kinda necessary for me (says he who hath bungled several such simple tasks over the years).
I use Cane Creek cross-top levers on all of my bikes - there is no difference that I can see.

Ok, I've been seeing a few bikes around every day and I wondered if anyone here owned any of them?? I'm going to put them in order of preference. So remember, if anyone is selling them this is the order for my Christmas list ;-)
A metallic Celeste green Bianchi TT bike, it has a really sloping top tube! So nice, I see the guy riding it, but he's faster than me, so I can never catch him to tell him how much I like his bike
A girl rides a shiny Pearl White frame, looks like a Pista or something trad. in shape. It's my absolute favorite colour! I see her every day in Soho from a distance!
An all black bike with Lime green DeepVs and matching BMX grips on a set of risers... I see this guy a lot - a very cool bike.
Anyone seen these, or know the owners - they have cool bikes.
Can anyone list their favourite bikes in London? Maybe pics. Or perhaps u guys aren't as sad as me - so that whenever you see a road bike you check the rear hub and then spit at the deralliuer or exclaim at the number of teeth on the rear sproket and discuss gear ratio with your yawning girlfriend!
Oh dear.... Still want that guys Bianchi..... Whoever u are!

I have a set of Shinamo 105 - I tried to fit them to a frame that had 27" wheels, used to have weinemann calipers. I'm sfraid they do not reach!! 57mm is not enough! the average Weinemann caliper reach is 63mm!
The only opetion is to go fixed wheel, and then change the front forks to 700c ones! No need for a back brake and you can run a 700c on the rear.

I think some of them are nearly £300
