Tumbled in the tumbledryer, for 20 mins, with a hearty squirt of WD40, a handful of Horsham sandstone. In a tupperware box wrapped in a towel and taped up :)
The Mrs wasn't too happy, and now my sandwiches have a slight WD40 taste.

Not sure how long the finish will last, it doesn't really matter, carried it for nearly 20yrs now. PITA to get the screws undone.....and had to cover in tape tp tighten them up. But worth it. Brushed all the clean steel too.

The finish is holding up on this.

Fairly easy enough, done a few watches and two knives now.

Been having a bit of fun, Made the scales and brushed the Squeak, acid etched and stonewashed the outers of the Micra :)

Pretty easily, a small flat bladed screwdriver to prise up the back prongs, and then pliers to pull them off. you can buy eyelets easily enough.

Wait, what am I saying?? It'll look bloody great on one of my straps.
