Is it just me who thinks Luca lunges in with the elbow?
It doesn't look like shoulder-to-shoulder which is how I thought checks were supposed to be made these days, and given the height differential I'm not sure it's even possible for these two to check each other...
It looked a bit dangerous to me (elbow/steering arm etc) though I think it was smart thinking from Luca and shows awareness off the ball.

Great tourney! So good to see you all after being away for a few months.
Was quite a challenge getting back into it after time out but soon got the hang of things.
Some really tough games going on. Sorry I never really got to hang out much but hey that's the way it goes sometimes. I had a blast.
Biggest thanks though to John for organising and refs. Don't know how you stood in that sunshine for hours on end and reffing those games. Some were pretty full on!See you all soon x

They seem to be on the London trend of Time Atac too albeit a much bulkier version.
They've been riding those pedals for ages.
Don't think the last MKE had 135 rear and wasn't disc compatible. Please they stopped the u-brake thing.
Looks ace. Disc guard is a bit of a Max Power rip though but then it's the best one out there. -

What can Nike do for bike polo? Are they wanting to promote and build it. Create courts across the world enabling more people to be involved. Supporting local communities and providing activity so kids have something to do?
Or do they just want a cool advert which shows they're on trend etc and will not care about the sport afterwards?
Despite some of their practises (top 10 corporate criminal!), if they're actually offering something in return then it may be worth something to the future of Bike Polo?
There are global companies and then there are Nike. And Nestle. And Shell. etc etc.
It's a really interesting discussion.
When you start looking at ethical practises and manufacturing it opens up a whole new can of worms. Where is your polo equipment made and how? It's good just to pay a bit more attention.
