It's exactly the same in photography. Male dominated as it's due to us operating a machine. And then we're given a chance to get all geeky about it. Just seems that men like their machines. I'm sure someone more intelligent than myself can explain the psychology behind this.

I think you meant 'dat' not 'that', but a good straight is a good idea and easier to find. What about the bottom gates of Greenwich Park to the top gates? Nice little hill there.

Yup! Had yet to be converted to fixed at that point, however I bought my Langster of a friend a fortnight after I got back.

You will definately need gears. Some of those hills are nasty, and you won't be able freewheel on the downhills (at one point after what seemed like 3 hours of uphill, I finally hit the top and looked out over a HUGE valley with a ?mile? long downhill. I hit 46mph).

I did London to Paris without a map last summer, just jumped on my bike a just went where I felt going. At the end of each day found a campsite and pitched up my 1-man tent. Definately the best way to do it - no chance of getting lost if you don't know where you are going in the first place!

Where in Docklands were you? As we were on the Highway handing out Jelly Babies to all the runners. Once my mate ran past we all headed to the Prospect of Whitby and awaited his arrival.

Cheers, All shot on the coast near Molde. Cracking area, wished I could have taken my bike. The weather was pretty miserable the whole time but the area still looked amazing all the time. That frst shot was taken on the airstrip as I walked off the plane.
