I was gonna reserve judgement until I saw one in real life, but i did on the way home today.
I don't like 'em.
The new normal one looks alright though. Still, who am I to judge, being a Langsterian myself? It's still about the rider, but that's a 'kin ugly bike.
Is it me or have Langster threads become like the LGFSS equivalent of RLJ/helmet chats?! -
I'm not sure. Were his knees hitting his chin and was he in a suitably inappropriate gear? Suppose that would only indicate if the bike he was already on was nicked.
Similarly, as I turned off the high street to come home this evening, I see a group of about 15 of da kidz eyeing the bike and one says to another, "speshalaaaaaazed". Could have been misplaced envy or "let's nick it off this beer laden mug"
If only they knew... -
That was truly epic.
Conditions not ideal to say the least, but the memory of tearing through the rain in the pitch black following the hypnotic flashing red lights ahead in the distance is one that will last a long time.
I'm totally exhausted, and damn glad I took the next few days off work!
Pleasure to see/meet/ride with everyone, brilliant experience all round. Apart from them nearly losing our bikes. -
Bailing's not an option, I've been building this up far too much for that.

Crüe.
These days, if you want to make the music you really want to then enough technology is generally available for you to be able to make it and allow others to hear it. Just don't expect to make a living out of it. If your "talent" gets spotted and you're signed up AKA "Living The Dream" then you're likely to spend years jumping through hoops to please your employers. Obviously there are exceptions, but if the music's really what matters to you then just get on and do it.
I've just realised that this thread is entitled "The Great British Weather". Erm...it was pissing down earlier but stopped before I came home. Yay. If the SW winds keep up this weekend then we're laughing all the way to Dunwich....

Unbelievable - feel like I've been wasting my time watching it now.
Agree with Hippy, but team entry needed. Screw the Dunwich Dynamo, Team LFGSS wins the Tour de France (kindly sponsored by Sam Smiths/Illy/Marlboro) Drugs? Yes. Performance enhancing? Nah, but we'll win in spite of them, with big smiles on our faces. Allez!!!!!!!!!!! -
