So, Keirin's off but the weather looks good.
I'm gonna suggest Monday, and I can't suggest a definite destination/route at this point, but there's surely enough of us on here to get something together at reasonably short notice.
There's been talk of Cambridge, that would be fine - anywhere else is good too - suggestions anyone? Brighton? Oxford? Reading? (No)
Meet central-ride-pub-ride-pub-home, or something like that. Anyone? Bueller? -

I unclipped accidentally this morning at 25mph going round Shepherds Bush Green in front of 3-4 lanes of traffic.
Wish I'd been a bystander at that point, cos then I'd know what a bloke on a bike at speed with one leg desperately flailing about in the air and the other one going round and round and round looked like... -

Ok, so I wanted to start the 1000th discussion.
Anyways gotta say I love it. Had a moment the other day caning it past loads of roadies and commuters up a really steep hill on the way home, coming to a perfect trackstand at the top, waiting for at least 20 secs, then shooting off.
So, what's everyone else's good bits? -

Was pleased to not be passed by very many roadies on my recent 3 lap Richmond Park Time Trial. Me and DDM were having a noobie crack round for shits and giggles and got respect off one group of (about 4) fixed riders. Loved the hills when you shoot past folks, but did shit myself when those with disc rears approached and overtook, strange sound....

Ok, Saturday's looking lovely so we're going again.
Any brave North London types (or anyone else who fancies making it along for that matter) fancy some nice big hills tomorrow morning? It'll be fun, although I'll be desparately flailing around in BringMeMyFix's wake.
Meet 9am Gloucester Gate, Regents Park, and we'll work a route out from there.
Anyone?! -

We are not doing the Rotherhithe tunnel: no one likes it apparently (see first bridges thread)
We will go through the Greenwich FT South-North then the Woolwich FT North-South which lines us up for a nice ride back to the finish: Observatory Park (Greenwich hill).Fair enough, I didn't fancy Rotherhithe much myself. Here's a Bridges II - revised version
I know nothing about SE London though, I'll just follow you locals for the last bit.

Possibly screwed it up in the Barnes-Hammersmith off-road wilderness, but for anyone in doubt:
Les Ponts Marque Deux
obviously, correct me if I'm wrong...
Will be nice because we can gradually assemble at Kew from whenever o'clock, and central London's roads will be clearing out as we approach through the night.
Good start....central meet, say Regents Park (optional race lap)?
General tour de londres (decided as we go), my knowledge is limited to north/west so if we're there I know good/quiet streets,
Wing it otherwise, ride and enjoy, there's always a decent pub nearby.
Highgate West Hill race at the end, or is that pushing it?
