used it for 2 builds.
never again.
same thing has occured on both bb's.
it undoes itself.
and the first one was installed by a bike mechanic. its a bb not an engine, its a piece of piss to fit.
i've since removed one from a build and now i can't get it back on.
fuck these bb'sYou're lucky - mine fucking refuses to budge.
As noted in other threads, the Campag tool that is supposed to fit has only succeeded in wearing metal off the teeth on the inside of the cup (yes I'm turning it the right way)Like the quote above says - never again.

yeah those floors are shit! And the urinal with its short and low sitting lip that causes huge amounts of splash back on your shoes.. soo many bad things.. but we do have a little outdoor place and it has changed hands!?
I've still got a fuckoff great hole in my shin from falling over in that place last summer and bashing my leg into a pillar by the bar.

A quick thing to add, directions wise: when I put this particular route/crib sheet together, is was based on the notion that the group would be passing through Croydon town centre early on a Sunday morning before there were (m)any peds around.
It's therefore worth adding that if the group chooses to stick to this route on Saturday, the pedestrianised zone is likely to be absolutely chocca, so it could be worth diverting/dismounting or risking the wrath of hundreds of grimy chavs. (I'm allowed to say this cos I is from Croydon, innit)I still hope to be riding, but an ironic twist has me staying down in Brighton with mates on friday night. So I need to decide whether to get the train up first thing saturday, so I can ride back again!
PS another thing, whoever's in front at Caterham on the Hill, make sure you take a right at Manor Avenue, and not Stanstead Road (refer to updated route link in OP)
This will save some of the more enthusiastic riders from hurtling off down a big hill and missing a vital turn. -
I was advised at lunchtime to try contacting the UK distributor, who might be in posession of spares if requested. But my 10 mins of internet trawling failed to reveal who said distributor might be.
On a side note, can anyone offer an opinion as to whether ROCs worth the 10-15 squids more than normal ATACs? (UTFS etc)
