jv someone told me that budvar had the most sugar of any lager - which turned me off it a little bit to be honest.
budvar dark which is pleasantly crisp and malty is available from the pub at the top of marchmont street wc1 bloomsbury, i forget the name of the boozer sorry
Interesting, lived round there for over 4 years and never been into that pub. Think I may have to now. It's called the Lord John Russell or something, I think? Unless you mean Mabel's tavern?

I work West, live central, but would be up for going work -> Richmond -> home. Having said that, all of my best efforts to get involved ina group ride keep coming to nothing. Let's strike whilst the weather is not shite...
Although, now I come to think of it, my postcode does begin with a W, does that count?

I am really really tempted, just trying to sort out the logistics now. There is an informal stag do that I may have to go to, but seeing as I am missing the Dunwich for the actual wedding I think they owe me a ride.
As for the BBQ, interesting idea, should be doable.
The weather looks slightly dodgy but might be OK :-)

This one is lovely, but takes a while to load. But, you can downlaod the applet and just run it straight on your PC.
http://software.bareknucklebrigade.com/rabbit.applet.html
It does skid patch calculation and gives leg rpm / mph for different gears as well.

Maybe we should start causing (minor) traffic accidents to all the poeple who drive into their car park. Some caltrops here, a little bit of oil there, low hanging branches. That kind of thing. Just in the places where only cars would be.
I'd love to work out a way for everyone who drove in on one day to get a mildly sprained ankle :-)

I work in Kensington and could easily take a bunch from the Duke over that way if anyone is round that way. I live about 2 mins from the Duke.
I'm also up for putting cash into getting lamination done.
Oh and Aidan, have you thought about going through all the old threads and making a list of all the lists we've had? A big, fuck off, meta-list to end all lists?

I've been in New York , working and riding in the ECMC. Been hanging out with Jack the Crank and he says to say hello to any old members of the one percenters.
As far as I can remember from our drunkeness he mentioned momentum, trampsparadise and more.
So, here's a hello from NYC and Jack. He's one funny fucker.

In the end I dropped the broadway race and did the checkpoint ECMC event on Wednesday instead. The weather was really sucky and the roads were slippy as hell , made me think that the BB would be too dangerous!
Anyway, I ended up doin loads of ECMC events and had an absolute blast.
As for results: nowhere of note although I did get a t-shirt prize at the awards in Sunday - mainly because I was standing in the right place when they threw it into the throng :-)

So, I managed to get me and my bike safe to NYC. Cycled into work this morning, about a mile down Broadway.
Started chatting to some peeps on the NYC version of this forum.
And then, before I knew it, i'd registered for my first ever Alleycat. Check it out. I have a feeling that this is either going to be the best or the stupidest (or both) thing I have ever done.
Wish me luck London.
ps - what side of the road do they ride on over here? -
