LFGSS and Microcosm shutting down 16th March 2025 (the day before the Online Safety Act is enforced)
I have so many things to say and just can't bring myself to say them just yet.
I am sat in a library, literally about to cry my fucking eyes out.
But, one thing I do want to say immediately is that @Velocio should indeed be knighted.
A few years back I actually tried to get the ball rolling to nominate you for an MBE. I dropped that ball and now I regret it whole heartedly.
You have done more good for more people than almost anyone else I can think of. You have always been inspirational for me. Thank you.
As for the more broad sentiment of this place, this amazing place, I will bring myself to write something. When I can.
This. Is. Awful.
Here. Is. wonderful. -

I started watching the video and then figured it out whilst he was preambling.
That is a total result.
But I am still kicking myself for not working out the bloody clue.
I am currently studying and tutoring maths and so I am claiming that I found it hard to see through the surface of the word play. Schoolboy error.

An observation:
The Search function UX seems to have two too many touch presses in it:
1) From the home screen I press the search button.
2) Then I have to press in the search term input box to give it focus.
3) Once I've finished typing my search term I hit the tick button on the keyboard.
4) Now I have to press search to actually initiate the search.
Number 2 of those could certainly be got rid of with an auto focus. I don't know if you can combine 3 and 4, it probably depends on the text entry method being used by the user, so maybe not.
My ideal flow would be: hit search on home page; type a teem; press tick; see results list.
After that first search the user could then filter with further options and refinements etc, but the main use case would be streamlined.

The night of Saturday 15th March seems ideal.
