if your bike has an orange frame and yellow deep v wheels then it is a bit bling, yes. all the more reason to show up i reckon. i don't think anyone minds? i went to polo last week and everyone was very friendly.

they do get discount yes, which is probably why they ask.

i like BLB, they're really friendly and very helpful. (this is genuine, not sarcastic). i am perfectly happy with all sorts riding fixed/ss. for many people the fad will pass and they will find something else to spend money on, golf perhaps. similarly, a new bike trend will appear, in the same way everyone once thought a muddy fox or a bmx was the coolest thing ever made. some of us will be left behind.
