think it's a matter of trust - i'm with bill on this one - If i'm riding with someone i know then we'll draft in turns but i don't want to be damaged or cause damage to someone else who's not particularly aware of what they're doing. it's mainly about self preservation.
There are, of course, exceptions to the rule - gave a tow to a veteran along nine elms who was signalling with his elbow but it was very obvious that he knew what he was asking for and the appropriate way to ride

waiting to see if they've been laquered on, there is still a Harry Hall shop in Manchester so it'll be a phone call to them as well -
failing that it'll be a recreation job in illustrator, pantone match and get some rubdowns made and applied pre lacquering but hoping to avoid that and get proper transfers

My two favourite replies for cycling use with drivers is a loud camp shout of 'OOOHHHH YOU ARE AWFUL' dick emery style or if a discussion has been started i play my trump card of 'I was only trying to help you ro-land' - confuse the f**kers and make yourself smile at the time, it's better than giving in to the red mist

STOP THIS NONSENSE NOW -
that chrome tape is the sort of thing that Westwood would put on his bike for some chavvy 'pimp my shopper' project.
Black, punched, suede fizik tape - now that's more like it
it is nice and shiny though.....
