i think it's the cog/crank size.

48 and 50 is the front crank, the rest of the number (14, 15, 16) are cog size.

tbh the tricks i see people doing on fixed wheel are the same i see chavs doing down essex road on their mountain bikes.

The only reason they do it is because track bikes are cool.

Track bikes are for blasting around town as fast as you can with no brakes - now that's fun.

yea it's he one opposite oxfam. I've seen one of the boys working in there riding around kingsland road area at 5 in the morning looking intently at locked up bikes.

there's a bike shop near dalston junction which is run by a well known bike thief. go in and have a look.

Dab of grease and a ball bearing in the head. you can only get it out with a magnet. works like a treat.
