Riding your bike is a tricky one. If you get stopped because they think you are drunk they have no way proving it (unless you are legless) as they can't force you to be breathalyzed.

Depends what type. It's the worst for me as i ride trails. I used to spend all winter digging and one week in the summer riding!!!!!!

As much as i love Ted, the video is really strangely put together. Almost all her tricks are overshadowed by the other guys'. Cool video overall, and entertaining watch, but the editors could have put a minute's thought into it if their aim was to tell about Juliet.

Because to be honest and I think- you would agree with me here - the only way he is going to be sure what size he needs is to try one out and get fitted for it. As this isn't going to happen as he is buying it on ebay, I was just offering an opinion without getting to complicated about it. ;)

i'm 6ft1 and a 55 fits me perfectly.

either statement is useless without knowing your inside leg, the effective top tube and stem length. manufacturers sizing can be center to top or center to center, this and the differences in compact and traditional geometry mean that effective TT is the main measurement that's going to tell you if the bike is likely to fit you. but unless you have been fitted properly to find out your ideal TT length it's all meaningless.
there are lots of people riding bikes of the wrong size, statements like 'A friend is 5 11 and a 58 fits him perfectly' isn't going to help determine the right size bike.

like i said i fitted the bike to my friend and the 58 fitted him perfectly

To the op, the actual top tube length on the 58 is 56.5 CC and the seat tube length is 54 CC.

Anyways, Personally with my experience - I fitted the bike to him - a 58 with a 110 stem fitted him perfectly.

Yea the Vigorelli is very tight. Very similar to my Geoffrey Butler and that is a 58 and I am 5 10.

I'd be interested to see this go to court, given that some of his bikes were illegal on many levels (sold without adequate reflectors, bells, etc).

If he wants to be a dick, phone trading standards and get them to assess the legality of the bikes he's selling. Oh, and as he's trading and has been for a while, anyone want to phone HM Revenue & Customs to check whether he's registered the business with them? He's probably going to face a couple of hundred in penalties (not to mention unpaid tax, with interest) if he's not.

Sorry to say this but it isn't against the law to sell bikes without reflectors bells etc. It's only against the law if you say they adhere to british standards.
