when you start a battle there's an array of the 6 pokemon which will be available to you. these will be by default your favorites, as long as they have 100% HP. Otherwise they'll be the ones with highest CP at 100% HP. you can change any one of them by tapping it and choosing another, before you start the battle (GO)

I, for one, will be intersted to see the nickname @iamtwilliams gives a cloyster when he gets one.

you can definitely do it. you need a much smaller bit tho. 25mm!
I used a 10mm bit on a plunge router to do all of the cuts on a play kitchen I made for my daughter out of some leftover 18mm ply. for that I found it best to do a couple of passes for each cut lest the bit get too hot. never had any problems with blowout or delam tho. -
update. raid reconstructed, now backing up the data. in the end I used the extra usb connector to power from an adjacent machine.
thanks again for the advice @Greenbank. -
rep. thanks @Greenbank. the machine I'm going to use is in a rack with a bunch of other hardware, so sharing the power across USBs should work if I run into power issues.

4-bay RAID NAS packed in, I need to connect 4x 2.5" laptop drives to a Linux box to recreate the RAID. I'm happy with the software side, it's the hardware I'm struggling with. I don't have access to anything with 4x sata slots on the mobo and don't really want to buy hardware specifically for this purpose.
can I buy 4x of these
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/251929863836?adgroupid=13585920426&hlpht=true&hlpv=2&rlsatarget=kwd-131843278386&adtype=pla&ff3=1&lpid=122&poi=&ul_noapp=true&limghlpsr=true&ff19=0&device=c&chn=ps&campaignid=207297426&crdt=0&ff12=67&ff11=ICEP3.0.0-L&ff14=122&viphx=1&ops=true&ff13=80
and mount via usb? I have a machine with 4x usb slots, however I'm envisioning power being an issue. how can I power these externally? -

anyone have any spare 29er bits?
after quite a lot but the primary target for right now is a rigid disc fork, suspension corrected to 80-100mm. head tube is pretty short so doesn't need a mile of steerer. 1 1/8 straight steerer.
the remit of this bike is as cheap as possible so anything will be considered, but will ideally take at least 2.25 tyres.
Thanks! -

about to dip my toes into SSMTB, many stupid questions incoming. looking to keep it all as cheap as possible.
does the forum have any knowledge/opinions on ss 135mm 29er rear wheels (disc)? frame (inbred 29er) takes 10mm axle.
hubs, this looks good value, but mini freewheel threading limits freewheel options.
the frame I'm considering takes 2.4" tyres at max, what rim width am I looking at?
thanks all -

i can claim all the remaining outlay (50% not already claimed) as loss against income tax?
yes
Meaning i'd have claimed 100% of my original investment back? That seems unlikely.
no. the loss goes against your gross income, so your taxable income shrinks by the value of the loss. so you don't pay tax on that £500. if you're a higher rate taxpayer, you save 40% of the £500 (£200).
the number of pokemon in the gym depends on the gym level. you can level up a gym of your own team by 'training' which is basically a battle but you can only use one of your pokemon instead of 6. i've found it's much easier to install a pokemon by taking over a rival gym rather than propping up an existing gym, however if you do the latter (and your pokemon is top) it will last in the gym longer.
