Thanks m8,
that makes more sense, but I still don't see the need for the window at 9 o'clock if all the information is given by the analogue hands and the window at 3 o'clock.anyway, i ordered a glasshute catalogue for use as a coffee table book. that was likely a mistake as I will undoubtedly convince myself that I need to drop EUR3000 on my next watch.

thanks David for the quick reply. I don't know much about this, but doesn't that mess with the SEIS relief numbers? forgive me if this is a silly question.
£50,000 first round investment
~£10,000 additional investment to exercise pre-emption rights (assuming everyone does)
£100,000 second round investmenttotal investment £160k but SEIS relief limited to £150k?
edit: rereading, I understand that any pre-emption investment will take away from the second round investment limit, so that the total is £150k.

Thanks to both. much appreciated.
FWIW, the question was asked in AQA, linked below with responses.

assume the study has two groups: 100 who eat processed meat and 100 who don't. Study says that in total 1 in 17 participants died during the 12.7 year follow up period. That's about 12 people.
I think that the study says that 7 people of the former group died in the 12.7 year follow up period, whereas 5 of the latter group died. 7/5 = 140%. obv my numbers are assumptions hence the % isn't exactly 44% -
so you guys are saying that in this market (lfgss), the value of this frameset is lower than in the larger market. That's acutally pretty representative of how this community works in my experience - better prices here than can generally be gotten elsewhere.
Which is exactly what is being provided. If the asking price is a fair value, the seller is doing you all a favour by offering it here before sending it to ebay, where potentially it will cost a LFGSS member more to purchase the frame.economics innit

Sparky, I've been following this thread with interest. I'm sorry about how it all played out for you, the stress must have nearly killed you.
Has your experience changed your view at all about the renting vs owning debate? Surely your experience above, all things considered, must go a little way toward redressing the balance of the pros/cons of renting vs buying in your mind. -

note to all... all of the answers to that quiz are in the 'read this before you click 'i accept'' bit of the T's and C's when you sign up for a seedr's account... you did read that, right? ;)
I managed to register with Seedrs but did have to check one answer to their 'risk assessment' on Google. They have a list of questions which are basically aimed at checking you recognise the risks associated with investments of this type.
The one I had to check on was in relation to future share issues and share dilution.
It's not something I have come across before but, in a nutshell, if someone owns shares in a company and that company issues more share to raise capital, the percentage ownership of the company is reduced.

i need to humbly retract my statement about embedded energy, after more googling. the below is a pretty thorough if slightly out of date review of the available energy payback publications relating to solar PV.

List updated.
lovely to meet you Sigmund. good luck with the build.
