I wish snap-on did bike tools..
I mean, park stuff? it's shite quality compared to most mechanic's hand tools for other applications.
in my bag there is always:
spanners 15, 10, 12, 13mm
a multi tool thing
chain breaker
folding allen key set
spare tube
puncture repair
3 tyre levers
spare contact lenses
latex gloves
KFC wipe
lock ring
assorted bits I can't remember
spare chain links
now some chain lube I bought from a shop in Wimbledon that don't sell track sprockets -

road users who have a blanket attitude (either way) to "red light jumping" have little understanding of how roads and junctions actually work.
the law states you stay put at a red light, which will pretty much work fine PROVIDING you get into the right position and can see properly.
however, many crossings and junctions will show a red whilst it's perfectly safe (and in some cases safer) for a push bike to proceed.
The skill is in knowing where and when these situations arise.
Now, can we hear no more of it and get back to drinking and pimp sprockets?
this isn't C+

if you really must put mtb bars on a road or track bike ;)
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=1009
azonics, proven and cheap enough.
but if you want very cheap, look at ebay or classifieds on singletrackworld.com mtb'ers are rich, they give stuff away

Jos: I’m just happy riding around not annoying to many other road users. That is the real trick, don’t swear at the pedestrian or the cabby if you just came wizzing through a red light from a one way street ??! WTF. That way I don’t have to be confronted with an ever growing population of aggitated road users hating every single cyclist that they see when I’m working.
Word.
and maybe it is getting better out there, I think it could be

Fixedwheelnut:Who is the last guy in your photo set with a 'Minoura Space grip' for handle bars? feck there narrow aren't they.
that's damnham!
I have seen even narrower bars than those around!
I guess if you think about how much of the flat you use on your drops, it's probably about the same size, I've got narrow drops and the flat is just big enough for a brake and pair of grips.
