My oldest bike was my Dads a Lambert Proffessional, recently rebuilt for a track day at Calshott
My Falcon Proffessional a freebie from my Brother in Law when they emigrated became my first fixed several years ago, built for a hill climb comp I started commuting on it and then doing my Audax rides on it.
My Holdsworth Monsoon 1960, salvaged from a skip with fire damage it cost me a respray by Mario Vaz in Hither Green, only downside is a slight kink in a seat stay that puts the wheel slightly off centre at the brake bridge this occaisionally means the chain can throw off at high cadence.
My main mileage muncher a custom built Ron Cooper Audax bike built with Bates cantiflex steel tubing.
and another freebie Raleigh hack bike, currently stripped of guards etc and fitted with tri bars for Time Trialling [well its done two last year]

TheBrick:I am goofy ginger fucker (not that I fuck gingers unless you count masterbation) and I like to do my ride home to Plumbstead drunk, spinning seems easier, unfortunatly stopping is not.
:) giger goofy Brick if you are in Plumstead check out the the Old Mill at the top of Plumstead Common, our club have a Tuesday night pub run and we went there a few months ago, the landlord insisted we take our bikes through the pub to the garden.
He had a chat with us and told us all about his bikes and more importantly beer festivals.
His last order bell is him and his girlfriend with Celtic drums dancing behind the bar and then he bought us a round while he went and fetched his old Dawes complete with 'Carbide Acetylene' lamp.As we were leaving coming back through the bar he said "you can't leave without doing the pool table challenge" at which he hopped on his bike rode through the bar around the tight passage around the pool table and back to us.
So one by one we all obliged, four straight runs and two with faultsHe took the pub on three years ago and had every intention of getting 'Good Beer Guide' approval, something he has achieved admirably.
All in all a great no nonsense pub with a great atmosphere and great well kept beer.
Cheers

I have a 'Cash Money Monday' mix of this including 'Far from Reality' that a friend bought back from Jamaica it is an excellent cd.
I also have an old album 'Too Experienced' by Barrington Levy that goes on when I rarely get in the car. :)
