F*** I know this thread is really old but this:
http://fivenineclimber.com/bikes/gazelle/gazelle_pages.htm
Has an amazing amount of info about Gazelle and some amazing catalog scans:

Is there a type of bike they didn't build?? I wouldn't mind finding one of those Super Aero models somewhere...

Thank you. My 17 year old daughter chose the frame and colour scheme. My disappointment is that, although they showed off the wheels they built for you, they never featured my bike on their blog. Too pink for them?
I don't think we have any pictures otherwise I would be happy to put them on. It is one of our finest works.

@ Clefty.
We will be closed on Easter Sunday and Good Friday, mainly to watch racing. Herne Hill and Paris - Roubaix.
Open on the Saturday though.
@ Cliveo
I do think Raymond and Gert are family but more in a cousin / nephew kind of way. I remember this question popping up on some Belgian forum too. They are pretty similar as riders though.

I popped by at about 6 last night, they'd been un-imprisoned by then, to find Jacqui and Jos sitting on the roof looking sunkissed and quite sozzled, i think TdV's enforced day off work turned into a one-day-of-summer quaratine party. Keith looked pretty mashed up. Sano, peperoni, tika, nosferatu and some others all dropped in too and a drunken tricks session started among some of them. Heh.
Thanks for the beer jos!
Sums it all up pretty well.
Coppers where letting nobody in so at 11 am we decided to call it a day and started drinking the remaining booze present at TdV HQ.
A day in the sun well spend!!

Ah, so basically the compensation for out-of-towners is that you can sit on their wheel and have them show you the way.
Yeah sort of. I have done many alleycats in towns I have never been to before but the first out of towner usually finishes in the top5 and is as much a winner as the guy finishing first and being a local.
All these things are meant to bring messengers from different cities together and just the fact that you show up in a town that is not your own to race makes you a winner (ahum cheesy!)

In alleycats you will always have the local vs. out of towner aspect. Like Overdrive says, you gotta keep up with them if you wanna win.
Most of the time there will be a prize for best out of towner, aka best of the rest...
I can tell you though that it's not impossible to win if your from out of town.

I'm well Will, thank you. I have in fact never ceased to live, so all is good.
