I run a similar setup. Looks like the heatshrink on the black wire has slipped down - it should cover the outside of the spade connector so it doesn't short against the body of the light.

I have Chorus 12 on the graveleûr. It's been rock-solid, crisp shifting and smooth braking all the time. The only bad thing was when I kicked up a stick into the rear derailleur and it threw itself into the cassette and exploded. Can't really blame Campag for that, though.

Honestly, I wouldn't get over-excited about their value. With a Record crank, Chorus ergos, and Veloce derailleurs, it's not a complete groupset.

They've obviously been well-used and 177.5 is an unusual crank length (although one that makes sense, looking at the frame size)

It's a beautiful bike, though. They're probably best left on it as a whole.
