If I were starting from scratch, I'd go for the new MKS Ezy-Superior, but already have a pile of the adaptors etc.

I found the MKS Compact too small for my feet, so went for the Litepros. The tolerances were so bad that the spindle wobbled around in the crank and they went straight into the bin.

Back to the larger MKS now, which have been rock-solid.

I am using Chorus 12 with an Athena 11sp chainset. It works fine.

Annoyingly, the front derailleur doesn't trim in the same way that 10sp did. So there can be some rub in big/big. But obviously no-one would /ever/ dream of using that combination.

Found some Campagnolo 12-speed bits with hydraulics for the Tripster.

I used to have the huge B&W box. It was a bit of a pain, TBH - slightly bigger than maximum luggage size, really heavy, and then customs tore it apart prising it open when it was unlocked.

The B-bag was much better, especially with some tactically-placed cardboard to stiffen the walls a bit. Suspect the new one is a bit better balanced, too.

My 2spd has been fine for nearly 15 years. But I did swap out the chain tensioner for an aftermarket metal one a few years ago.

I have. A change of clothes, 13" McBook, and assorted cables fit easily. Shoes also, but are a bit more of a squeeze so I tend to leave them in the office.

There is no sway with a Bagman. And having the quick-release makes it a lot easier to get the bag off at the other end.

I had similar issues on a S2L. Ended up cutting an inch off the end of the grip to make it all fit better.

heh. I also have a THR5A. The sound is a bit thin, which is why I upgraded to the AS100.

It doesn't have the fancy play-along stuff that looks like the Spark's USP.

I've been using a Marshall AS100 for this sort of thing. It's been great.

Although it is big. The AS50 might be a better fit. I just happened across the big one for super-cheap second-hand.
