When I broke my arm, I didn't really feel much pain. I actually didn't realise I had done it until I went to stand up and couldn't lift my arm. It was only when I saw my arm bent in such a strange way that the shock kicked in and I realised how bad it was.
Mashing my finger on Sunday was more painful (still is in fact).

yes, the spelling and grammar on these forums leaves a lot to be desired.

Haha, I only wish I had taken pics. I was kinda in shock though, blood was p!ssing everywhere and I was sort of holding the top of my finger together wih my other hand. (still haven't got round to wiping the blood off my frame) All I have at the moment is this post-surgery pic, I'll be sure to take a pic when I go back to the plastics clinic next week when they change the dressing.

also have this (with a matching one on the other side), old skateboarding injury…

got loads of other smaller scars involving windows, concrete stairs and even an old Batmobile (remember the blade-thing at the front?)

thanks man, yeah bike is fine. The old guy decided last second to take a right turn at a mini roundabout by Fulham Broadway. I could nothing but slam into his car and flip over his bonnet. Funny thing was he was sort of stoked that I was riding fixed. "I ride fix when I am young" he said to me before telling me "You good cyclist, you fall good!"

Was just reading the Fixed Gear Injury thread on BF, luckily I'm not losing the finger like some poor guy that was mentioned. shivers

much like 1bhp, I too am a lowly graphic/web designer. Work in the marketing dept. of a hi-fi & home cinema/TV retailer.
Sucks ass but allows me to do things I really enjoy like riding, the odd bit of mixing (records, not cakes), and generally trying to make the most of this city we love to hate.

how much fun was that! Blackwall tunnel was a blast. Scrap using a plutonium-powered DeLorean, my legs coulda got up to 88 miles and hour!
(at least that's what it felt like)
Well up for more of these, especially as the weather starts getting nice.
