Something like this.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Woolala-Carrier-Backpack-Veterinarian-Approved/dp/B082V1XFYL/?th=1I just don't know anyone that's ever used them to know if they're any good for doing ~40min cycles

Aha, thought I'd order some after this review.
Just went to check on them and saw 2 walking across it, struggling, but then fly off.4.6* on amazon, not sure how - and yes I did peel the sticker off
-
The overwintered ones I'm hardening off, bit scared to leave them out for the aforementioned slug and snail issue (never seen so many snails until I moved in here) but at the same time green flies have just reappeared (think I've caught them early) and fungus gnats are spreading (no joy with coffee, apple vinegar traps) despite drying everything out and when necessary only watering from the bottom
And like KatBalou, everything I grew from seed this year is stuck at 2 inches

Did this over the nice weather bank holiday.
For my first go at woodworking I'm pretty happy with it.
Thanks to those that helped (general tips, recommendation of kreg accu cut, new blades, and joining help)
The sides, bottom and back are glued together and dowel covered screws. The top is just 4 dowels at the minute so it can be popped on and off to make it easier to attach to the wall.
Debating whether to give it a really solid sand and then an oil or just leave it. I was going to just leave it but the dowels don't match as well as hoped (should really have done a practice job).
I got a bit of scorching from the groove, not too sure why, probably pushing with the accu cut too much.Going to keep an eye out for a cheap router to do the edges too.
Weighs 4.6kg so by the time a bike is on it will be pretty heavy so will need to find something sturdy to attach it to. None of the planned walls are painted yet though so will come to that much later

You will likely need a finer tooth circular saw blade for finish cuts.
Will these be okay or is it one of those it's worth spending more on? Blade that came with the saw is just 16.

So I cleaned up with the HG mould spray (which I was super impressed by, sprayed, left 30 mins and came back and it was all gone, gave a final wipe over and no mould).

Equipment thus far
- Carlite bonding
- Gyproc Easifill 60 Filler
- hawk and trowel
- various wallpaper scrapers
- scrim tape
- drill atachment mizing paddle and bucket
- various wallpaper scrapers
Questions:
- How much further to hack around? If it feels a little hollow on tapping should I look to remove or just try and not disturb it?
- Looks like the carlite stuff I picked up isn't going to be particularly suitable as it will react with the salts in the old house so should stick with lime mix
- any suggestions on what I should be using for the different types of cracks and holes I have?
- anything else I should pick up? pva glue? premade mixes
- is everything going to be reversible I eff up and want to start again
Going to continue to read and watch youtube but you guys are always fab

Project minimum spend bathroom
Moved into my first home and the start of the year and done embarrassingly little - partly no money partly as I wanted to do some research and get a feel for the place.
Bathroom is obviously so will eventually get redone but likely not for a 3-4 years so want some ideas on what's my best bang for buck upgrades.
Slowly collecting tools and would like to learn how to do a lot myself current thinking is
- Repanel bath tub
- Marine ply
- colour?
- stye?
- vertical panels
- geometric
- perimeter square
- vertical panels
- Marine ply
- repaint ceiling
- just classic white presumably
- just classic white presumably
- repaint tiles
- lots or just the band
- lots or just the band
- repaint skirting board
- repaint door
- build undersink unit
- move sink so not in the corner
- new mirror

cypress road
Ah yes, I remember someone saying that when I first got my survey, tried to do some hill sprints up but after a few months off I only managed 2 aha
Your difficult bit will likely be getting a solid connection to the wall once you've made the unit.
one step at a time lol (I might not even get approval from the GF to put anything up), I think it will be just for my carbon road bike, not sure I'd trust it with the heavy gravel bike

I think I've got one of these new with tags somewhere (can't remember why I bought 2), so if anyone else was keen DM me :) SW London
