Looking to buy a titanium gravel bike but I simply cannot decide on which to get and as a roadie I'm not sure if I'm missing any considerations.
Budget: £2k-£3k (will then use GCI cycle scheme)
Uses: North/South downs, winter roads, Swedish gravel (example), would also like to foray into some bikepacking
About me: 29m, 6ft2, road bikes (so happy with a less upright position)Leading Contenders

Trek Madone 6.9 SSL Dura Ace Di2 Project One - 60cm
Selling my beloved Trek as I got the itch for something new and can’t justify 2 ‘Sunday bests’.
Project One paintwork gets a lot of attention and comments, very unique.
This is has been a true summer bike; stored inside and only ever ridden in dry conditions, got 4 other bikes for mixed/wet conditions.
I’m obviously biased but compared to Pinarellos, Felts and Cervelos I’ve rented in Mallorca over the years I still feel the stiffness yet comfort of this superior.
Full dura ace di2 throughout (10sp)
Fulcrum Red Wind 50 XLR CULT (their top of the range ceramic bearings) - front wheel is getting ready for new bearings ( + wheel bags)
Continental GP5000 28mm tyres
Carbon/Titanium skewersBontrager Elite Aero VR-CF Road Handlebars
Zipp Service Course SL 110mm Stem2 Carbon bottle cages
Ceramic bearing tacx pulley wheels
Duotap (built in cadence sensor)
Di2 Charger included - I only charge 3x a yearVery recently put a new KMC chain and Ultegra cassette on. I actually think the old cassette had plenty of life left so have kept and will include for spare, training wheels, turbo etc.
Potentially got a few extras from the parts box that I can include too (extra dura ace cassette, 3rd carbon bottle cage, Duotap cover)I would recommend new tape and brake cables but you’d want to make it your own anyway.
Weight as seen 7.8kg (weight includes the power meter pedals that won’t actually be included in the sale)
Pedals and Mount not included, nor is the saddle but can include a Selle San Marco Concor Racing Saddle (£99rrp so still decent).
As expected a few age related marks.Been safely kept in a bike box indoors for the last 6 months.
£1200 ONO, collection from SW12 London or potentially Rugby/Coventry
I went to have a look at it the other day in the Kingston store. Looks real nice. You can borrow one for a few hours, I haven't yet but plan to soon.
I'm having a similar requirement and just made this thread - https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/388675/
