Thanks, I feel this will be more difficult with pdw guards as they're pretty stiff.

Unfortunately I was assaulted while on the bike for tapping on a bonnet of a close passing car. Saddle is dead, everything else is fine.

Done more work on the bike as work gave me a few days off to rest. The front brake somewhat works but will give it a full strip with new seals later.

New parts since last pictures are hope 22 pedals, Berthoud saddle, ritchey 60mm stem with ritchey kyote bars, all silver.

I'm having to return the berthoud mudguards as they are long but drilled as short so all the length is in the tail and pretty much touch the floor. SJS said that's how they're supposed to be and it wasn't until I sent them a picture of my Roberts with the same guards they agreed.

Has anyone fitted 27.5 pdw to 26 wheels? Guess the mudguard line would be all off?

Pair of hope pedals. Wear from cleats and a bit of aluminium corrosion due to being on the coast. No play in pedals, no clicking, new pair of cleats minus bolts.

I think most roughstuff bikes miss the mark. They're overbuilt and heavy yet only accept a 42mm tyre with guards. Mine wasn't enjoyable to get around on, reminded me of my Thorn raven.

I picked up a work at work for when I do fried rice. I now brown all my meat with it. Nice flat bottom and doesn't roll around on my stove top.
