Yeah exactly there’s an issue with the old spesh mindset headsets so I’m changing it with a new cane creek forty series headset but other users report having issues with a loose top cap, all reportedly solved by a few shims placed here.
I’m after the bit that goes between the top cover assembly and the compression ring that sits just above the bearing. They’re used on integrated headsets to get the compression ring deep enough. Cane creek manufacture some like shown.
Ah I see the confusion I mean headset shims which go ‘within’ the headset, so between the headset cover and the compression ring, these would be useful though! Thanks
Need some headset shim spacers, the thin ones that go between the compression ring and top cap on an integrated headset, probably need about 4mm? They usually come in between 0.1 and 0.4mm, made by cane creek mainly I think. Need ASAP and posted please, thanks!
