Also did the Etape for the first time this year. Such a luxury not having to worry about cars and to make use of the entire (mostly smooth) roads. Agree about the organisation, friend had a mechanical and instantly a motorbike was there to help him and advise him a mechanic was 1km away.

Really want to do something similar maybe Etape Caledonia or Mull.

Ah that does look sleek! I’m using a shim currently but would be up for an adapter if I had to.

Agreed, that’s my plan eventually. Looking for the right stem to go with the 1 inch steerer might be a bit of a trial and error.

This is all extremely helpful info. I've been eyeing up the Mac Industries table for years but never pushed the button. Going to go down the laser cut route and build it myself.

Quick question, did you go for 16mm holes when ordering it laser cut or did you add any tolerance. I've got nightmares of filing every single hole to help clamps fit.

Know this should be in retrobike but trying here as well.
