WITHDRAWN FROM SALE THANK YOU
For sale is this delightful fillet-brazed 1990 Overbury's Pioneer ATB made in Bristol BS6. I'm looking for £375 or thereabouts, with all proceeds from the sale going to charity (MAP).
I bought it for £500 (overpriced, I know) from original owner Steven in July this year. It's in remarkable condition and has seen very few miles. It has a sweet straight-blade unicrown fork with a lug kinda thing and a cool bilaminated seat tube. It's made from Columbus Nivacrom 'Off Road' which apparently has 'double and triple thickness butting' lol. Steven lubricated the insides with a thick wax-type coating from new, so no worries there.
The distance between the BB and the saddle in the photos is 71cm. The standover height is 77cm.
I made the following additions/changes:
Panaracer GK SK 26x2.1" tyres (they measure up at 53mm actual).
Cool Nirvana-esque cable yokes
Fresh cables
7-speed wide range cassette (34t from memory)
2x front chainrings (24t and 38t, with a chainguard in lieu of the largest chainring)
Cute anodised red crank bolts
Stem mounted front mech shifter
SimWorks Little Nick bars, with ESI Extra Chunky grips
Brass cable ferules
WW frame bag in a custom red colour
The I and O of the tiny Pioneer sticker on the driveside seat stay were coming off so I Sharpie'd an A in their place so it now reads PANEER.
Other than the tyres, I kept all the original bits I took off so you can have them. Everything else is stock; let me know if you need any specific details. The safety pizza, bell, bottle cage, bottle and pedals aren't included.
You're welcome to collect from Swindon SN3 or I could potentially deliver to you in person at either London Paddington or Bristol Temple Meads. But bringing all the original bits I took off with me to Bristol or London will be a mission if I'm honest.
