Sorry, having problems with uploading and double-posting. Still can't upload pics, but some are here

I do love fixed gear, having ridden track a fair bit over the years. Currently enjoying my third Geoffrey Butler track frame, recently bought from Jack Thurston - see this thread.
It's a bit small for me but does fine pootling on the seafront. I've only swapped out the stem, saddle and seat post so far.

@Andytrack69, Continental treat their base tape differently, so you need at least two layers for a Conti tub: min two on the tub, one on the rim.
More important than many layers IMO is to ensure that the cement covers right to the edge of the rim. That cement at the edges is doing most of the work keeping the tub on. A guy new to track was rightly concerned about his tubs. He hadn't glued wide enough and they would have rolled eventually.

Thanks. Would also fit in with the NY crowd

@PhilDAS I've seen plenty of compact frames fail at the junction between the seat and top tubes, one of the reasons why I, as an old curmudgeon, prefer classic geo. I wish I knew enough to judge what's going on with the Rourke.

@Pipyepip I've bought it. Looking forward to cleaning it up and sticking a nice Campag groupset on it.

Shout to @tomsvoboda for selling me his various spare bikes, frames and kit, and for waiting patiently while I got the funds together. Great guy with great bike knowledge. Helped me load the van, too. Cheers.

@Ndeipi, wider clearances were more common in the '70s, before everyone wanted close clearances on the road. Makes it easier to put nice fat training wheels on, for starters. Front and rear clearances look to be approaching 50mm.

Gios Aerodynamic 🔥🔥🔥
(What size is it)?
I've got a Peugeot 753 pro already (currently unbuilt). Otherwise I'd be interested in your Perthus. I never figured out what was going on with the chroming on Peugeot 753s: did they ignore Reynolds's advice or were the stays 531p?
