One of the best things I ever did was pack up smoking.I smoked alo t when I was in my twenties, early thirties.Was making me feel very ill ,feeling sick,could never clear my throat properly,broken teeth,bad,bad skin.Dry hair,dry cut lips.The list goes on.It rots you slowly to death.

Wow,this thread never dies.I had a thing about Brooklyn machine works when I was in my twenties.It was THE bike company that really was above the others.I had many bikes in my life,never owned a Brooklyn though.At the age of54 I'm still addicted to cycling and would still love a gangsta track set up with drops for the road and cyclocross.Maybe one day when I can afford it!

Too much of this going on.Who do people think they are?,police are useless as usual ,as long as your taxes pay their wages that's all that matters.Don't expect much in return.Drivers seem to think they have more rights than cyclists for some reason and this makes it ok to put your life at risk.React and it's us that goes to court.Seriously ,there needs to be some real improvements for cyclists on the roads as our numbers are growing.

I'm 54,my ratio is 48 x 14 and I'm not slowing down.Sometimes I think that age is irrelevant ,I'm pretty sure I could do well in the crit races but I do ride alot.When my body complains I ride harder.
