Thanks! The brake is a priority but I’m not sure a dual pivot, short reach nutted brake exists. I suppose I should drill the fork, or rather pay someone to do it. The post is just a Kalloy I think, but I’m happy enough with it. The frame takes a 27.0mm post so options are more limited. Overall though I’m super happy with it and think it’s a good use of the frame considering I’ve got no interest in doing a vintage build and it’s too old to MGOOF practically.

Retrieved the 1969 Witcomb from the loft for a road fixed build. I need more suitable brakes or to drill the fork (these have too much drop), a longer chain (the only one in the parts bin is forcing me to run 50-15) and to do something about the troubling amounts of rust, but in spite of all that it’s an awful lot of fun.

This is a great alloy wheelset but I can’t see myself using them again. They were last seen on my winter bike so they’re a bit grubby but they’ll scrub up and there’s very little wear to the braking surfaces, but there is some bite on the freehub (Shimano 11s). Annoyingly, there’s a small dent in the rear rim. It doesn’t stop a tire from seating and the advice when I asked in M&F is that it could be straightened back out with some adjustable pliers. No skewers or tires, though you can have the 23mm RIBMOs currently on them if you like! I’m after £40, collected in Bristol BS5. Postage is possible but unlikely to be cheap.

I sold one of these recently and then quickly remembered why I’d been hoarding it in the first place! For clarity, I’m after something with a long bolt for a fork that isn’t drilled for a recessed nut. I’m hoping for something not too ancient and I don’t need a mega long brake drop either. In Bristol, happy to pay for postage.

Sounds like the right setup assuming by ahead adapter you mean a shim to use a 1 1/8” stem on a 1” steerer.

I grabbed this off the street but I don’t have the time or space for it so I’m looking to pass it on. It’s a 21” 2012 Wethepeople Trust. The components are rusty but the frame doesn’t seem too bad. The top cap is seized and rounded, but sort that out and it’s probably not too far off being rideable with a few new bits.
Collect in BS5. GONE

The former. This frame has a 57cm top tube centre to centre and the pump is about 2cm too long compressed to the max.
