I bought this on here not that long ago. It’s beautiful, made in Crewkerne Somerset in 1980 by one of the greatest British framebuilders, but I only have room for one fixie and I’m very upset to say that I’m keeping the practical one.
It’s 56cm square centre to centre and ding and dent free as far as I can tell. 531 Pro according to the Reynolds sticker, though it looks like this was put on after a respray so we must trust the integrity of the painter. The paint is ok but there is a fair bit of patina. Maybe another respray will be in order a few years down the line.
I’d like to sell it with the Dura Ace 7710 crankset (bit tatty, 105 BB I think, matching 50t chainring in vgc), wheelset/tyres (hard ano Open Pro CD on old style single fixed Primato hubs, excellent condition with only very light evidence of braking in the front from when I took it into the Mendips) and Tange headset. I can sell it as pictured here in skidder mode with or without a brake or just as a rolling chassis and drivetrain.
For this I’d like £440, collected in Bristol BS5. I don’t want to either split or post for now, but I will if I have to further down the line.

The inevitable spiralling costs of a project that should’ve been cheap has left me with the following shopping list if anyone can help.
Rigid v brake/canti fork, 1 1/8” threadless, at least 15cm of steerer, 400mm atc or thereabouts. The more mounts the better.
Rim brake rear wheel or wheelset. 8+ speed.l freehub.

Superstar make a nice one. Looking at it, they probably make them for Brother!

I have a Kinesis DC07. It’s on the pictured bike at the moment but I actually have a bougie upgrade I haven’t bothered fitting yet. 28s and guards is doable with the right combination of tyre/rim/guards. Plenty of steerer left, I think. I can measure properly tomorrow and take some pics of the condition if you’re interested.

I prematurely closed the old thread for this so starting again. It turns out that this pump is not only too large for my frame, but also the frames of everyone who has expressed an interest in buying it! Silca say this will fit in a gap of 54cm-59cm, though 55cm to a bit more than 58cm is more like it IMO. The pump is in excellent used condition.
£75 posted, £70 collected in Bristol.
