Hello lfgss,
With great sadness, it is time me and my trusty stead part ways for I am heading to greener pastures with rolling hills that require either gears or stronger knees. My steamroller has carried me many a mile across London as a commuter and California as a tracklocross racer. It was originally white, then the previous owner painted it blue, and then I painted it orange/pink. It definitely shows the scars and scratches of being a commuter, but as with most surlys, the frame is in perfect condition under the copious amount of paint.
The good:
-Chris King headset in a fancy limited edition color
-Specialized carbon bars
-mks pedals/restrap straps
The bad:
***Needs a new rear wheel, the rear hub is starting to tear itself apart from a bad hub adjustment. It seized up a few years ago and couldnt ever get it perfectly tight ever since. Ive been riding on it like this everyday for about a year and a half trying to see how long it would last. Surprisingly there havent been any catastrophic failures, only the occasional ugly noise. Long story short, it would feel a lot nicer with a new hub at least.
The Ugly
-The aforementioned paint
-The Helen Mirren spoke card.
-The saddle, its comfortable, just not on the eyesLet me know if you have any questions/want better pictures. Dont want to part out.
Thank you,

Selling my friend's Cannondale commuter. We added the flat bars, lx shifters and levers. It was a lovely bike but always had a few problems, so it got dumped onto me. Probably needs a new rear brake and bottom bracket, definitely needs a new rear wheel. You will be able to ride it home but it wont be an incredibly peaceful ride as the latter two components are quite noisy. The frame is really nice and have been holding onto it with the idea of fixing it up, oh well. Let me know if you have any questions. I also have a few parts that I should be getting rid of as well, and if you wanted to turn this back into a drop bar bike Ive got sram shifters and brakes as well as the original drop bars.
