Plenty of snow up in Aberdeen today, pleasantly surprised that my not really suited to commuting commuter handled it well. Sks mudguards arrived on Monday, pretty impressed with them! Less impressed with helping drivers make it up a steep hill after being sat hammering off the rev limiter spinning on the spot. "Put it in second and try that" appeared to be a revelation

Not had great experience with Cycle Trade in the past (selling items in much worse condition than advertised), but for me this is the best silver Campagnolo groupset, 10 speed Chorus. Might be a job finding matching shifters!

Thanks very much - my morning and afternoon sorted! Enjoying the Disc 1... of 1 labelling too :)
Tenuously linked to the hosting site there, my 3 year old daughter has recently started using "Hear this..." to kick off a sentence. I keep waiting for her to drop a tune but alas, more info about Paw Patrol

That's really cool - my AWOL live is only single disc, second CD unmixed I'm guessing?
I was too young to enjoy it first time around (8 in 95) but when I went to high school I got introduced to drum & bass then jungle, borrowing CDs and finding stuff tucked away in Virgin and MVC!
First D&B/jungle album I owned was this... might have to hunt a copy down: -

All,
For sale is a new 105 compact chainset, 50/34 rings and 170mm crank length. I bought a conplete 105 groupset but wanted bigger gearing so these are not required. Includes all bolts, end cap and instructions. Will post in the box that my chainset came with.
£90 posted, using Royal Mail Signed For due to insured cost so please bear in mind their service at the mo.
Tiagra level BB-RS500 with BSA threads for an extra fiver with the chainset or tenner solo.
Thanks,
Joeupdated to remove my daft terminology, cheers all

1 1/8" Chris King Sotto Voce in realistic price shocker

Yeah sorry no picture is unhelpful, unfortunately I'm at home and the bars aren't. The groove is definitely mechanical, bike has barely been used! It literally looks like someone has popped a pipe cutter round the bars and given it a single turn, can feel it with your nail, black paint is broken.
I'd be certain the bars are original so the OD should be a match for the stem, so over or under tightened seems the cause. Thanks for your replies, I'll hang them up in the shed and get some replacements. The drop shape is very... marmite anyway!

Does anyone have experience of CODA quill stems failing/being known as death traps? Found this example here, pic below: https://www.lfgss.com/comments/15180272/
Today I removed the ally handlebars from a CAAD 3 I bought and the edge of the stem clamp has cut a little groove in them - Cinelli Eubios with a reinforced/thick clamp area. I was going to file the edges of the stem a little and carry on. Or should I consign both to a shelf and replace? Both parts are pretty ugly, but they're original and the right fit so I'm loathe to get shot

I have a frame with a Stronglight X94 headset that requires a proprietary spanner to install and remove.
Before I get a belt spanner/hench accomplice to try and remove it, does anyone have a spanner tucked away somewhere? As per the picture below. Will happily pay postage x3 to borrow, and will return it! Cheers

Found this listing trying to ID the headset fitted to a bike I picked up and ended up in the weirdest wormhole... loves grease injection
