I had a good time, reliving my youth. Didn’t manage to find a taker for the spare ticket unfortunately, to be expected though as it was very short notice and the weather forecast was pretty iffy. Had a couple showers but not enough to be bothered by.
There were a few Lads there but was generally a very mixed group.
The Hives were great value and BP played a fun set. - I didn’t know a lot of the songs as didn’t really follow them after the first couple albums

Cheers for the advice cornelius
Ended up getting a two speed ‘07 that needed a bit of work for £550. Took a lot of scouring on here and Gumtree to find one at what I thought was a good buy and not of dubious provenance. Other than replacing a spoke and trueing the front wheel, new tyres and a good clean it’s not needed much. So probs in the £650 range all told.
Really enjoying having the use of a bike again in town after my train ride in.

Hey @RunRabbitRun,
Got a friend that might be interested in this. She’s 5’3”, I’m not familiar with mountain bike geometries but looks like it might fit her…? What height range would you say it suits?
Would need to be posted to London most likely if that works for you?

Hey @Squircle is this tyre still available?
Cheers

Thanks @Arvy.
I used the app to hire a bike for a couple days, was helpful to get a feel for one. They don’t do well with an unplanned ride over a muddy field in Epping Forrest, who would have known!
There the option on Brompton’s website to hire for a year or by the month, but both options are currently not available, so probably over subscribed or no longer on offer.
Anyone got a bike they’re looking to sell?

After a Brompton, ideally a S type handlebar, easy on the number of gears. Budget is around the £500 mark but could stretch a bit if needed, or to ‘rent’ one from someone if they have one they’re not using at the moment.
London based but can travel a reasonable distance if you’ve got something promising.
I would have been keen to try Brompton’s rental service but looks like the £50 pay as you go option isn’t being offered at the moment.
Cheers

Might be interested in one of the bags if you’d be open to splitting? Do you have the models and any more photos of them?
