I’m sure the new MacBook will get the steeze points sat surfing LFGSS and pitching to become an influencer for some up and coming brand targeting millennials whilst sat in the latest go-to cafe (that does single origin anaerobic process wush wush on batch brew as well as lab grown wagu/tofu finger food)

I have 4 pairs of grensons and 3 pairs of trickers plus a pair of cleverleys RTW
Would never buy grensons again as they look cheap, feel cheap and last cheap.
I like the trickers which are now all due a new sole, the cleverleys are made by Crockett and Jones and I will probably but from them for next pair but that’s likely to not be for a while as they are all lasting so well (grensons aside) that I don’t need new shoes. -
In that graph are the rates per 100k for the age cohort as a whole or is it split?
i.e. the rate for 40-49 per 100k includes both vaccinated and unvaccinated rather than taking 100k unvaccinated and showing how many will test positive?
Be interesting to know the difference between 2 groups of 100k rather than a mixed group.
Or have I got that totally wrong? I don’t deal with numbers/spreadsheets/stats so forgive my ignorance. -

Yes, still got the peg but it’s looking a lot different now.
It cracked at the seat stay/seat tube junction so I emailed Dario (RIP) and he said “senda back to me” so I upgraded the fork to the Falz and had a respray in a different colour scheme while he repaired it, the repair was free but by the time I had shipped it there and back plus paint and fork it cost me €700
Though over the years it’s cost me less than £100 to own every year so was happy to pay up.
At some point I’ll update the current projects with some pics.
In between leaving and joining the forum I had a Chesini in Columbus spirit built and bought a bowman Weald so the Chesini is not being used so I’ll sell the frame when I get round to taking pics.
Oh and I bought a brompton which gets plenty of use.Edit: found a pic on my phone

Have fun pulling them apart, I swapped the guts over from rival to force after I stripped the plastic thread fitting a hose, managed to pick up a cheap pair of 1x rival so added the force shifting and composite levers to them.
It’s a real fiddle and things will shoot across the room no matter how careful you are, circlips are difficult to find in long pile rugs... -

Parter is about to put her flat on the market and a quick scan of the estate agent agreement has got me confused (not difficult) there is an exclusivity period of 6 weeks and then it talks of ‘multi agency’ which im not sure about
14.2 The Multiple Agency Agreement shall continue for that period of time (the ‘Multiple Agency Period’) until terminated by either the Seller or the Agent giving the other party 14 days’ notice in writing expiring on or after the Agency Period, in which case it shall terminate on the last day of the notice period.
14.3 The Seller will be liable to pay the Commission Fee to the Agent, in addition to any other costs or charges agreed if at any time unconditional contracts are exchanged with a Buyer introduced by the Agent or with whom the Agent has had negotiations about the Property during the Multiple Agency Period. However, the Seller will not be liable to pay the Commission Fee in any of these circumstances if the unconditional contracts for the sale of the Property are exchanged six months after the expiry of the Agent’s Multiple Agency Period and where the Seller has appointed another estate agent whose activities have resulted in the sale of the Property, or twenty four months after the expiry of the Agent’s Multiple Agency Period in all other circumstances. And:
"12.2 The Commission Fee will be payable whether the introduction is a direct introduction or an indirect introduction (where the Buyer makes the purchase as a result of becoming aware the Property was for sale through the marketing of the Property by the Agent) and whether or not the Buyer makes the offer to purchase through another Agent or through another person. Another Agent is someone involved in estate agency work or someone who in the course of a business introduces a Buyer to the Property but has no further involvement."
And:
"If you have previously instructed another agent to act for you, or if in the future you instruct another agent, you may become liable to pay other agents a fee as well as any fee due to us under this Agreement. You should therefore consult the terms of business of any Agreement you have entered into with other estate agents.”
IANAL but i interpret that as having to pay the Agency a fee on the sale if you sell with another agency after the 6 week exclusivity period?
is that the norm? Agent is the go-to independent in the area not a big chain or the tosspots in Mini’s.

Finisterre. The Kelson and Bosun which are wool blend, not tried the cotton or lighter weight ones.
Currently 3 for 2. Still not cheap but I have had a few pairs for a while and just bought some more.
The best socks are Dalhgren alpaca which I cleared out of TK-Maxx about 8 years ago and all of them are still hole free and certainly don’t look old, will have to wait until I go to the states until I can buy any more. -

Thanks, not far off what I imagined it would cost.
Would probably stick with the hallway as that’s what you see and use the most and repaint the wardrobes and fit new handles, can always do them later.
Any idea what’s the cheap-expensive order for surfaces?
I’m guessing:
£ painted MDF
££birch ply.
£££ Veneered ply-richlite/valchromat etc
££££ solid hardwood? -
Any recommendations for bespoke carpentry in SE London or at least will work SE?
I’m thinking faced ply/valchromat/melamine modern house eye candy.
It will be doors and frames for existing built in storage cupboards and wardrobes in a modernist flat.
would ideally like something veneered with London Plane if it’s not too £££ and there’s enough money left over after the eames bird, Aesop hand wash etc.
Also no idea what this stuff costs? -
I was banned from this forum about 7 years ago for no reason other than defending the unjustly oppressed CliveO.
I only rejoined today to inform you of that.(I still look at the forum now and again, not for the nostalgia of the 2007 fixed gear scene but valuable info on which fine surface filler to use and who best to service a Valiant boiler in north London.)

Got to wait until they become eligible for an Amex/avios purchase in the Apple store but I’ll be ordering a Max/2tb/64gb/16”, should help avoid the need to go and make a cup of tea while working on 20gb PSD’s which is happening far too frequently with my 2016 MBP.
