1. Shimano chainrings 130BCD 52t and 45t, both have life left in them. I've never used the 52t one but I did get as part of a bike 2nd hand. £12 posted for both

40mm will be fine. I think the official clearance is 35mm with guards.

Hello, your Strael looks great with the guards! I also have a Strael 3.0 and I'm in the process of fitting mudguards to it. Did your Strael come with the bolts for the eyelets? Or did you get them from SKS or somewhere else?

Just want to echo what many have said. This is an incredible effort and inspiring me to target a much more modest goal. Keep it up and make sure you don't get complacent, there is still a very long way to go.
