in the German nerdiness category you also have Renak. A hub dynamo that you can uncouple when not in use.
-
Just be careful that the support of the dynamo is also the negative pole on most dynamos. You can connect it has such and run only the positive cable, or you connect positive and negative to the dynamo if the dynamo has both poles. Also there are left and right models.
A new HR traction is however one-third of a complete new wheel with dynamo (20€ vs 60€ in Germany)!
Also be careful with the reflective stripe on the side of the tire, dynamo should not run on it or it unglues.

Yes same electronic as Bumm, but Bumm has a plastic casing, and SON a metal one.
Same for Edelux II, it is using Bumm led and reflector. From their website: With sophisticated mirror-technology (Busch und Müller IQ premium) the Edelux headlights illuminate the lane homogenously and very broadly.
SON is building dynamo, and that is the core of their know-how, but their lights are upgraded Bumm lamps. And it is ok!

be careful some scam website in Germany are selling it at a price too good to be true... and pretty much out of stock everywhere. and not exactly a reasonably priced option.

also jagwire/problemsolvers are selling "frame plugs" if you have the cable going through the frame.
You might want to add: https://tout-terrain.de/en/the-products/components/1820/plug5-pure

If your front hub has a normal connector, nothing else. Some SON dynamos have specific connectors (SL), but that normally goes with specific frame. https://nabendynamo.de/produkte/sl/
The support of the lamp to the frame has room for variations as the one provided is usually pretty basic (but I think for supernova it is quite ok) e.g. idworx lamp holder, supernova Light Mount Multimount

Busch&Muller or Axa, you cannot really go wrong (or Hermans, trelock).
Light sensor are a great comfort I think ("Sensor" in Busch&Müller, "Auto" in Axa), it switches automatically on at night. Not compulsory but nice.
"Standlight" in Busch & Müller, "Steady" in Axa, is the fact that the light stays on for few minutes when you stop pedalling, I would stay compulsory! (Front and rear).
Daylight options are very much optional, up to you.
20/30Lux is more to be seen in city environment, 80/100 Lux is very nice. And everything in between.
I found the Busch Müller Cyo Premium Senso Plus the best value for money (same as the one in the chat few lines above) https://www.bike24.com/p267802.html?source=SRP&indexName=production_SEARCH_INDEX_EN&objectId=BUS167619&queryId=44ca1a135ab9bdfe73c11d23947f8e3e&userToken=c2cdcd9f-060f-45b4-89d8-dfa5a2dd3caa
on a budget, Herrmans H-Black MR8 (but without sensor)
rear light, approximately everything works but take with Stand light (Starts at 7GBP) ! Some have brake light with a motion sensor (20 GBP ish)

A german guy has tested all of them:

To be honest nothing has changed since Lucien Juy / Simplex design, nowadays derailleurs are still a collapsible parallelogram. The lonely other improvement was indexing.

The Victoire was in a different thread actually:

Light below are daylight extra lamps. Have them on the lady's bike. Offers safety in busy city environment, but dynamo is then having a bit more drag all the time (minimal but noticeable). But you have a switch to switch off completely. What you cannot do is have the automatic switch to full light while switching off the day lights. It is only about being seen.

This bike is from the French "Concours de Machine" (machine contest _ frame builder bikes), where the Victoire few posts earlier is also heading to for this year edition.

(I do agree that the Sram etap is big time out of place though)
It arrived third, "Grand Bois" from Japan. Each year there is a different Thema, in 2019 it was Paris Brest Paris.

This bike is amazing actually, traditional geometry and full carbon, a bit like old look bikes.
1800 GBP -
on Korean website it goes from 4000 GBP in non-pro frame ultegra 12s Di2 to 8000 GBP pro-frame with RED eTap.
The equivalent-ish of Schmolke is 6300 GBP with pro-frame and Dura Ace 12, 10000GBP on Schmolke but with the fancy handlebar, stem and seatpost. Schmolke is VAT included, no clue for Wiawis .

Maybe I wrongly phrased, yes Tout-Terrain is well regarded here, and the product works well!
Except that "the plug" is not available on most website, and the one where it is available discount it to 90€, and this website sounds like a scam. Not even an "impressum"!
But yes product is real and great!
