Did my first proper ride with it yesterday. Light goes everywhere - on the cables, on the bag, even on my knees. I think this makes it not glare at drivers - there’s no centre spot to avoid shining at them.

Will report back after this week’s commutes. It’s very much about being seen rather than seeing, light everywhere but no pools of light. Given the routes I use are fully lit but busy that’s exactly what I wanted.

I was going to post the photo below showing how it sits quite vertically on my H stem, but then I folded it and it hits the calliper so it’s now been slid all the way to the top and it’s still a bit closer than I’d like, and isn’t as vertical. The medium would be fine.

I just got one of these as Sigma Sports we’re doing them for £40 delivered at the moment. Bigger than I expected, ridiculously bright in all directions. Nice that it can be mounted near the top of the stem - I don’t like the low mount lights for city use.

The old tag, more specifically, was the inclined lift (hence the italics) at the station entrance. Crossrail have introduced several of them and they are massively slow so will be taking the Brompton on the escalators next time.
