I have a full 6770 Di2 groupset at the moment (bought here a long time ago!). Would changing the junction box from SM-EW67A-E to a EW90 3-Port junction allow me to charge the (external) battery using usb without removing it from the bike? Would I just need the junction and two wires to go to the brake levers. I assume I'll need to update the firmware as well? Have I missed anything?

Yes, for sure. Even stranger is the Labour transport councillor is now blaming the idea on the Greens so that he can argue the case for the mythical underground network https://www.bristol247.com/opinion/your-say/delivering-change-bristol-requires-politicians-bold/

@chris0 It's closed between Mina Rd and Muller Rd as they're building a new train station there. The detour is pretty shit - I think it goes via Boiling Wells Lane. Also closed between Constable Rd and Bonnington Walk, need to use Wordsworth Rd instead

The A4 consulataion is still live (closing date 1st Oct). Worth looking at, as it involves building a new road where the old railway was (Brislington Greenway, where there was hope of a new bike path similar to the Bristol-Bath one). Bristol cycling campaign have tentitively supported it, more info here: https://www.bristolcycling.org.uk/chairmans-statement-a4-consultation-brislington-greenway/

My dream of learning how to wheelie is officially dead, so I am selling this. I bought it in 2007ish, used it for a couple of years, and then it has spent the best part of 13 years following me around and living in various sheds (always inside), not being used at all. A couple of years ago I put some Clarks M2 disc brakes on. These have probably done under 5 miles in total.
I don't know anything about mountain bikes, but here are some specs:
- DMR Trailstar MK1 frame
- Marzocchi Dirt Jumper II forks
- Clarks M2 Disc Brakes
- Shimano Deore LX rear deraileur
- DMR crankset
- DMR V8 pedals
- Kenda Kiniption tyres
- Flux saddle
- some classic late 00's stickers and MBUK chain slap cover thing
A couple of points of note:
- Slight play in the crankset
- Rear disc brake lever has a lot of movement in it (I haven't bothered trying to adjust it)
I have no idea how much this is worth. How about £200 --> £180 --> £160 --> £150 --> £140 --> £130. Collection only Bristol.
- DMR Trailstar MK1 frame

I got Paul levers from this seller. Seem pretty well made, although I imagine levers are easier than actual brakes to make. Probably the best knock-offs I've got from ali though - even came in a Paul branded box...

I've found no issues with getting bikes on trains in the last couple of years, maybe post-covid no body seems to care anymore? Can't remember the last time I've been asked about reservations (this is mainly with Transport for Wales, GWR and Crosscountry, and a little bit of LNER). GWR always have a couple of spots that you can't reserve. If they're full, there's sometimes some luggage racks in the vestibule that you can fit your bke under (depending on the train). Otherwise just get on and stay with your bike in the vestibule - bit of a faff standing up for the journey but I've never been told to get off by the guard.

This one: https://www.bikester.co.uk/red-cycling-products-bike-box-ii-bike-case-M128648.html
Only used for one trip in 2018, and it's been taking up space in the spare bedroom ever since. Come with all the usual bobbins but not wheel bags (I just wrapped my wheels in some clothes).
£120? Collection only Bristol BS5

I suppose it depends how you define 'worth it'. I have the Vent Axia Svara, which seems to work quite well. Can set night time hours where it only runs on a trickle, or set it so that it only turns on after x mins of the light being on (in addition to humistat). This video's quite a good explanation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvSE9aAmeGk

I've never had it updated. Would I not get that multi-gear change thing where you can hold the lever down for 3 / 4 shifts at once, or does that not work on 6770?
