US Govt. returning its attention to the South China Sea, with 2 carrier groups conducting exercises. Carriers normally have at least one nuclear sub with them, so it’s as much of an sub-aquatic recce mission as it is an exercise.

Single skin brick walls, shallow foundations, and shonky roof construction?
Is it part of a wider trend towards easily removable or renovate-able buildings, to suit changing needs and fashions?
A previous flat of mine was built in the Victorian era in a prime London location, and didn’t have a 90 degree angle anywhere. It would still be a right pain to tear down, I expect.

it wasn't created to say "other lives don't matter"
Succinct and clear. I would go a step further and say that the All Lives Matter slogan is most often toted by people who refuse to acknowledge the vast disparity in how black people are treated by the system and society. While BLM is saying ‘we deserve to be treated the same as others’, ALM is saying ‘there’s nothing wrong with how you’re treated, you just want special treatment’.
By any metric, people of different races are not treated equally. BLM exists because ALM is currently a false statement.

On a full carbon fork the crown race can be a real pain to fit, and cutting a carbon steerer is a bit more involved and expensive than cutting an alu steerer. So £15-25 would be a reasonable price range. Installing a headset on carbon frame and fork is also a bit trickier, but same price range.
Seems they were either taking the mickey or they didn’t want to do the service.

I regret if I distressed anyone, I’ve not become enraged at tech like that in a long time.

40 years of shootings and bombings ..... fresh in a lot of memories.
I once worked overseas with an Irishman who had grown up during the Troubles, and had a reputation for wanting people to know he was tough. The one time I saw him completely freak out and panic was when someone triggered our work’s bomb alarm. It’s a national trauma.

Have you lubed it? Take out the grub screw, set the hub so the hole is as 12 o’clock, put some wd40 in the hole, let it penetrate for a while. Whatever way you take it off, this won’t do any harm and will probably help.
My guess is theyre both press fit, but slightly seized on.
Not meaning to teach you to suck eggs, just going into detail for others who might find info useful.

BLB front and rear hubs 16h, never used. Bearings are nearly brand new. Some extremely minor scratches from storage, not visible unless you’re inspecting closely, but I’ve taken some £ off as they’re not pristine. £40.
I’ll leave the new unused 16t 1/8 track cog and the lock ring on for £12, otherwise will sell separately for £15.
The shop gets some extra hands, your kids get valuable work experience and guaranteed playtime if by playtime we mean washing bike components like Victorian leather makers, and you get free babysitting. Don’t be surprised if they take you up on it.
