Thanks for the suggestions (and @edscoble).
Too much preload?
(Sorry for the probably obvious question) you mean preload on the cranks? I'll give this a try for sure.
You haven't whacked spacers on it when you shouldn't have?
I don't think so, actually I didn't fit the BB as I didn't have the tool at the time so took it to my LBS.

What can I do about a Shimano BB (BBR60 - Italian threaded) in which the crank is not spinning freely? Even without the chain on it feels like it takes too much effort to turn the cranks. Weird thing is, even though I built this bike up a couple of years ago when the BB was brand new, it's hardly done any distance. I'd guess in the few hundreds of km. It doesn't feel grindy or gritty or anything, still quite smooth if that makes sense, but just hard to turn the cranks. Does it likely just need servicing/new grease? (Shamefully I've got no experience of servicing a BB, maybe that's about to change!)

I was always a bit disappointed with Spyres but definitely noticed an improvement after switching to (Jagwire) compressionless housing. Also totally personal but I found setting them up with a bit more lever travel felt much better. I also tried cable actuated hydraulic (hy/rd) and didn’t find them that much of an improvement, but again probably a bit subjective this stuff.
Canyon looks great btw!

Hey, going through clothes my kids have grown out of. This was destined for charity shop but felt like someone on here might be keen on it for their offspring! There's the tiniest little stain mark in one of the arches of the m. Free. Collection in N19 or could meet/drop off within reasonable distance.

Just on the off chance - does anyone have a bag for a Pelago Rasket they’re looking to move on? There are two that look perfect- the Rasket specific bag Wizard Works did or the Pelago rack bag in large. Open to other ideas though. Would like something that fits well to avoid it shifting around in the basket. Ta!

Can anyone recommend some silver metal mudguards which would fit a v3 Pompino (XL size with OG fork)? If money were no object I’d be looking at some VO or PDW guards, but since this is a commuter which gets locked up outside from time to time I’d rather go for something a bit less spendy. I’m currently running 32mm tyres but if there was room to upsize at all that’d be a bonus. Ta!

I’m replacing the brake cables and outers on my Pompino, running TRP single speed drop bar levers and v brakes. I’ve done the rear and the brake is now a bit sluggish to return to position. The v brake arms themselves feel nice and smooth/springy when no cable is attached. I cleaned the noodle/sleeve, should I have lubed with something? Happy to hear any other suggestions on what I might’ve got wrong!

Nice, I always wanted a Paddy Wagon.
Fit guards of course. Hopefully some PDWs come up
I’ve got some of the skinnier PDW guards that I’m no longer using. I think they say max 25mm but I ran them with various 28mm tyres (Paselas, GP 4 seasons) and they were great. DM me if you’re interested and I can send some pics.
