Hey guys. Bought a wall mount on here, advertised as unused but came without the plugs/screws and instructions.
It needs 2 screws and has to be mounted into a wall stud but this is my first time putting one up. Any specific requirements on type, size and depth of screws I need to make sure I hit? Do I need to make sure I use a wall plug also or is screwing directly into studs ok?
Any help appreciated!

I ordered brand new Omniums from State in the US when the last batch went up. However, I was stupid and completely forgot about import tax. These took them from £200 up to £270 which is too much for me really.
I don't want to lose money on them without having used them, so figured I would check to see if anyone wanted them at £270 before I put them on a bike for the sake of it. I understand the price is high but thought it was worth checking if anyone wanted them
Cheers!

Yeah I havent purchased direct but if its 1.5 stars it must be awful.
Unsure on how they would compare across chips - the 10th gen Intel chips were pretty bad reportedly so it has put me off dropping £1500+ for a laptop with a drawback like that.
Its a shame coz apart from that they seem almost perfect

I've been eyeing up a new xps 15 for a while now too. The bad reviews are apparently due to quality control issues with the track pad being loose on some units. They say its fixed now but still reports of issues I think.
Also don't want to pull the trigger if they are going to put the much better 11th gen processors in it soon, like they did with the xps 13.

I also got one out by using a reciprocating saw and putting it down the seatpost, making 4 cuts and then pulling those pieces out.
That is a last ditch effort but that was after 3 weeks upside down filled with penetrating oil and countless hours twisting it in a vice.
I would leave the seat on before sawing the tube as you get more leverage at the top. Drilling a hole through the tube, screwing a bolt in and attaching it to a pipe for more leverage works well too.
Good luck!

Installed brand new cranks and external bb today - a Miche Pistard Air and Miche Supertype Evo. Upon install they aren't spinning freely - as in would stay horizontal if left there and not drop downwards. They wouldn't go through more than 1 rotation if spun fast.
There isn't a lot of resistance and they don't feel overly stiff, however not what I'm used to.
Is this to be expected and will wear in over time, or is there an issue? My first thought was putting too much preload on the bb but seems really unlikely. I shelled out more for the BB with SKF bearings so want to make sure installed correctly.
Any help appreciated! Cheers
