Yah he's a decent fellow and a monster on the wattage. But next to WvA, Roglic is something else, a total package it seems, who may be able to give Remco a run for his money later on.
I didn't detest Ineos, mainly because next to the focus on the tour they had some cool riders for the classics. But the money thing and Froome's lack of charisma did not favour them in the public's eye (and my mainstream persona). Also fracking.

This here my old Titan team Golff Foreldorado. The original owner used to be their top dog and the team only had 3 of these bikes for their best riders. The others rode steel.
I found it in the local classifieds for a modest amount, but I was still in my retro days and couldn't appreciate the stiffness of the frame. So after a year I put it back online and within 30minI got a message. The OG rider's gf saw the bike (I mentioned his name in the ad) and wanted to buy it for him. Who was I to say no, so they came by, we had a couple beers at our place, double date style and they left with his old precious. No profit was made except a bloody fantastic afternoon with beers and stories of his racing days.

Apparantly both Jungles and Alaflip broke their handlebars just after Imperia, Wilfried Peeters says in an interview. Last week Alaflip had 6 flats he says in that same interview. Using this as an excuse for not winning is plausible, but not great advertisement for their sponsors imo.
