Happy with my atom pack, if overpacked it can be squeaky. If you aren’t desperate for UL i would get something a bit more study as it does sacrifice some comfort. That said though I’m very happy with mine. If anything, I wish I had got the 50L. I have the The Atom+ EP40.
Edit - mostly taking it on multi-day solo through hikes

Which bits in particular did were particular bad, planning to do this over 4 days in mid september - unless it does rain quite heavily.
any campsites you would recommend?
This is my current plan. I am meeting some near Uckfield and a blank area of good campsites.
1 Croydon Marsh Green 34km
2 Marsh Green Burnt Oak 30.2km
3 Burnt Oak Arlington 29.1km
4 Arlington Newhaven 21.7km -
Struggling to pace my running for marathon training independently. So I’m looking for some sort of activity tracker that can give me pacing while on a run, not keen to wear one full time so not keen to break the bank and happy for battery thats not at its peak.
Don’t suppose anyone has something at the back of cupboard that they’ve upgraded they would want taking off their hands for cheap!

Sorry, only just seen this message.
This was the route I followed: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/46198447
I need to edit the route to add in the second campsite.
I stayed at both of these and they were good

This is interesting I will try this. I
had not done any through hiking for years just day hikes until the last bank holiday when I did a slightly shorter route than you suggested here but again over three days. Detling to Folkstone following the North Downs Way. 20km first day, 25km second day, 20km third day. -
I have bought the following before and they have been successful, although using a slightly different version now.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Stickers-Catchers-Dual-Side-Whiteflies-Leafminers/
I have used sticky pads, mosquito bits, DE, drying out for 6 months. I truly believe it is completely impossible to get rid and even if you do they’ll come back via newly bought plants or even having windows open in summer. A combination of all three and I have mostly got rid but sticky pads are doing 95% of the work. I am also not convinced they are attracted to the yellow so I just try and get as much coverage over the soil.
I would say the DE doesn’t seem to be as successful as I hoped. Gnats seem to be able to get through but i’ve never witnessed it and when you water from the bottom it can soak back through the soil if not careful and soak the DE making it useless anyway.

Managed to get a couple of better photos.
Most of the photos for mealy bugs look like they’re on stems and leaves where as this is mostly contained to the soil occasionally outside of the pot. I haven’t had any issues with the leaves and seen nothing on the stems. Although just looking at backs of leaves there are little white marks (on 2 of more than 8 infected plants) I didn’t think these were pest related though
@Rodolfo did you have anymore issues with the springtails or unknown pest since reporting removal of soil or just gnats that improved?
-
I don’t know if this got a response but i am pretty sure these are springtails.
Anyone got any ideas on how best to deal - drying out plants to within an inch of their life didn’t help, looking for a more permanent solution.
Basically infected all plants so I think must have been the soil?
Would just reporting everything into new soil and cleaning the roots off as much soil as possible be a last solution?
Also trying to rid gnats with mosquito bits, gnats are frustrating each plant has maybe 1 gnat appearing a day - hoping the tape and bits will kill them off.
Photo is off some springtails but found it impossible to focus on them even with a big lens
edit - no issue with the springtails for causing any damage or stopping growth just a lot of them crawling around

Picked up an old moser from @Kendo29, incredible kind guy great seller, condition was exactly as described.
He offered multiple saddles, pedals and bars to get me home and to suit my needs, grave me loads of time to test the bike out and give it a ride even gave some good route suggestions out in surrey!
would definitely recommend.
Cheers Ken!

Hello,
Similar request to a few others on the front page of the wanteds.
looking to replace my run-around.
Don't want to spend a much amount so £100 to £200, size wants to be 51-54cm, steel ideally but can be tempted by any aluminium. Although 20 year old aluminium does scare me a little...
I have seen a few come up in this range on fb marketplace and ebay but nothing that just fits me.
I feel like a philistine, what is a handed pillowcase and does polite society dictate which side they open on, i.e. knives and forks! should the openings be matching on the inside or the outside?
