Gravity Racing Components 40t chainring - 40t / 110BCD - New
I bought this probably 10 or 12 years ago with the aim of putting it on either a fixed gear or downhill bike, and it was never used in the end. Made by an old USA downhill bike brand. Still sealed in its original bag with the staples. Not sure the width but looks very chunky. Really beautiful bit of kit. Might be nice on a burly fixed gear.

£25 postedEaston EA70 Monkey Bars - SOLD
Classic DH / MTB bars that would look great on any retro build, commuter rat, cargo bike, or fixed gear.
Good condition and not cut down, but with plastic bar ends stuck in both ends (could drill out).

Very nice and very rare. Good condition with a small scratch.
Sell second hand for £160-180+ online.

Not sure exactly what these are worth, but they're quite nice still. Apologies for the muck.

350mm length. Taken off a bike I just bought second-hand. Looks to be in very good condition, with the exception of a bit of a rash-like patch which you can see in the photos. Perhaps from using normal grease instead of carbon paste, and it reacted with the alu frame? Not sure. Looks superficial, anyway.

First saw this on the old Cannondale team bikes (Sagan's etc), and have loved it since. Have used with no issues, and I'm heavy. Nice bit of kit.

Ah ok. Yeah Planet-X have the complete 53/39 Athena alloy crankset for £60, or the carbon one is about £120 online, both with rings. I'd probably get the LBS to swap them, but was just wondering if I'd have to buy a new cassette too, as would need a new longer chain and that won't be worn at all, so might cause issues with the used cassette, right? The seller said it all had about 900 miles on it.
Ideally I'd like 52/36 anyway, so not sure that crankset from PX is the best idea. Having a bit of trouble finding those rings, that'll work with the Campag cranks, for a decent price. Is this the world I am entering into? :'(

Yeah I'll leave the groupset, frame and wheels. Other parts I might sell and swap out though.
Not sure about a 50/34 setup either. Might be doing some racing and fast group rides soon and that won't cut it. I guess if I replace the chainrings, I'll have to get a new, longer, chain, and then might have to replace the cassette too? Could get pricey. Don't mind changing the crankset+rings and chain, but that cassette is at least £100 new.

Cross posting from CP: Thought this was a good deal at £550 and nothing I need to upgrade.
Cannondale CAAD10 frame
Campag Zonda wheels
Campag Athena 11 speed group set, 50/34 rings
Campag Chorus Skeleton brakes, Chorus cassette 11 x 29
Continental Ultra Sport 2 tyres 25mm
Easton EA50 bars, 3T ARX stem
Easton EC90 carbon seat post, Selle Italia Max Flite Gel saddle
Shimano 105 pedalsChanges (preference rather than necessity):
- Fizik Antares R3 Test, or 00 saddle
- FSA K-force post
- Fizik Cyrano R3 bars, 42cm Bull
- Vittoria Open Pave tyres 25c
- Dura Ace pedals
- King Cages
Planet-X have 53/39 chainsets for £60, and the rings seem expensive on their own. So might get one of those, too. Have never used Campag before. What's Athena like, compared with say, Ultegra 6800? Will roll with it for a while and see how I get on. Never had Campag before, so quite exciting -_-

Bought this recently:
Cannondale CAAD10 frame
Campag Zonda wheels
Campag Athena 11 speed group set, 50/34 rings
Campag Chorus Skeleton brakes, Chorus cassette 11 x 29
Continental Ultra Sport 2 tyres 25mm
3T ARX stem, Easton EA50 bars
Easton EC90 carbon seat post, Selle Italia Max Flite Gel saddle
Shimano 105 pedalsCan't see any parts I would immediately change. Maybe the chainset as Planet-X have some 53/39 on sale for £60, and the rings seem expensive on their own. Also the tyres and saddle. Have never used Campag before. What's Athena like, compared with say, Ultegra 6800? Thought this was a good deal at £550 and nothing I need to upgrade.

Some for the large footed:
Nike Bauer Supreme 30 ice skates (12.0 ice skate size, will fit about a UK 12).
The skates are new, and I bought years ago but have been sat unused. Both pairs may have small scuffs etc from storage. I may have worn the red shoes once on the bike, but I honestly can't remember.
£60 for the skates. Not in London so cannot meet, apologies. Paypal via PayPal. The skates were $150 (I had them shipped over from the States).
I am healthy and have shown no symptoms of illness. Have only been going out for walks and to get food once per week (with a mask). I clean everything that comes in to the house (parcels, food etc), so no need to worry about buying from me.
Message me if you want either please. Thanks.

Sorry to dig up an old thread instead of starting a new "Wide shoes" one, but if anyone has wide feet and is having trouble finding shoes that fit: Lake.
I got some second hand, but effectively unused so they haven't stretched or anything, Lake CX237 Wide, and they are the widest cycling shoes I have ever tried. I imagine any of the Lake "wide" shoes will be very similar. Apparently they also do some "extra wide".
