Also unless he's desperate for the ritchey set there are much better quality silver options i have the ritchey set on a bike and I've not been very happy with mine as they have developed a cloudy white haze on the lacquer even though the bike lives indoors yet my 10 year old thomson still looks mint

Evans have a an endura pro sl road suit on sale half price also £90 Black in large? over budget i know but it sounds like exactly exactly what you're after. For £60 i think you may struggle to get something nice as well as new and considering the state of my chamois after a race i wouldn't fancy buying something well worn as skinsuits can be fragile you can only really wash them on a 30 degrees delicate wash so they tend to get more of a quick freshen up than a deep clean if you get my drift but good luck.

No pinz have a sale on their cx2 long-sleeved skinsuits at the moment £89.99 reduced from £150 black and grey. Nice suits I'm 5"10 65kg and found a medium too long for me and a little loose overall so should fit you nicely. You didn't give your budget so didn't know if you were looking for something mega cheap

Also it may be work taking a look at brick lane bikes vintage collection they have lots of rare expensive collectors bikes on there and your bike wouldn't look out of place in their lineup. I'm only guessing they take a commission for selling them rather than paying thousands to buy them as stock to resell as some of them may never sell. So maybe take a look and contact them directly.

Breaking it down i agree with TM on his estimates. Those frames inc fork are available for £500 new so £300-350 be realistic for that possibly a little more if its in perfect condition and £30+ a piece for your bars, stem, seatpost and saddle. All of the parts especially the wheels are really nice quality and should be desirable to anyone building a similar bike so should all sell for what they're worth pretty easily. If you can be bothered with the extra faff of splitting and posting/delivering/meeting multiple times and getting the money in dribs and drabs you will most certainly get the most money in the end. Not many similar super pistas around at the moment for direct comparison but they are on a par with the many cinelli vigorellis and mash's for sale. There's a couple on the forum both full bikes and splitting so maybe take a look at those too for a reasonable guideline.

I agree with the previous post recommending paceline or velocipede as a slightly more suitable target market. As far as I'm aware there's no such thing as a traditional sale room style auction with for exotic, rare bicycles but i also think you probably need to find a collector somehow. I know it's a seems a terrible shame but this beautiful bike may simply be owned and never ridden.

This looks like a £1200 build new? Looks good condition in the pic so I'm sure you'd like to hear that £800 sounds like a reasonable price but it really depends on who's looking and how keen you are to sell. It's a unusually large size which will likely limit your target market. So you may get people offering £500-600 without them thinking they're taking the piss. Just my opinion so maybe wait until you get a few more quotes before you make your decision but don't confuse lots of generous valuations with a bidding war. Hope this helps even a little bit

Great so we've got a deal at last sorry this took so long to sort out it turns out all the problems i was having with the pm's were to do with me still being in my probation period. I should have read the forum rules and nursery thread beforehand really but you know how it is. Monkey see monkey want 🐵

Right so it looks like all i can do at the moment is reply on the public forum and receive pm's but can't reply to them i hit reply write a message and hit send, says sent then i get a failed delivery for the message later on? I have tried 4 or 5 times to reply to your messages. So I'll email you from my Hotmail account when I get time tomorrow and leave the forum alone.

Hi did you get my message? Im still struggling with Forum i got your pm and replied but I've had several messages from microcosm lfgss saying message not sent delivery incomplete. So i may have been talking to myself for the last couple of days. I still want the frame if it's still available. If it is could you pm me again I'll reply and if you confirm we can sort it out via email otherwise I'll just have post my mobile number for you on the public forum. Good with bikes bad with tech.
Sorry. -
I really like the look of this I'm a massive fan of the older principias I've owned 3. People who don't know how good they were are either too young or never lucky enough to have ridden one. Never met another princpia owner that didn't absolutely love it. Hoping to sell a mtb frame next week which will cover this if its still available. I only need the frame and headset i have an original mizuno full carbon principia weave fork from my old rex pro in the garage which would be a perfect match. I'm new on the forum but if want to dm me I'm still trying to figure out how it works. I still can't work out how to start a new post I can only reply at the moment but hopefully i can pick up a dm and we can take it from there.

Old hacker and recovering 90's MTB addict I've been riding, racing and building bikes forever.I had a couple of unsuccessful cracks at going pro way back in the day but I try to make up with enthusiasm what I lack in talent. I like fat aluminium, skinny steel, sick fadez and splatter paint jobs. I've also recently come out of the closet as a Triathlete 🤫
Just finished the finishing touches today i bought the frame from Andy@skipper of the forum. Spec list= principia/mizuno rex pro fork, fsa team issue carbon crank on dura ace bb,time xpresso pedals, k-force seatpost and 90's flite tt carbon saddle all from my garage of goodies.
